You definately get what you pay for. There are other controllers that are cheaper but don't come close to the quality of this one. This is fully customizable with their software. Change the button's lay out/function ANY way you wish. It is pretty responsive and the battery lasts for a long time. It connected to my switch right away without any issues. My only complaint is that it feels just a tad smaller compare to my previous controller. If they would make the handles just a little slanted towards the outside instead of straight down it would make it ergonomic and more comfortable. I definitely highly recommend the purchase and will but another one the next time i need a controller.

Firstly Dpad is next to none. I’d buy this controller just for the dpad because it’s so good compared to more modern controllers. Perfect controller for just about any device. Got this on sale on Black Friday for $40 bucks and for sure one of the better purchases I have recently made. Use this with my PC, IPhone, Steamdeck, and Switch!

The 8BitDo Pro 2 wireless controller is a fantastic all-around gamepad that works seamlessly with my Nintendo Switch, PC, and Apple TV. While it doesn’t come with Hall effect sticks like some newer models, I haven’t experienced any stick drift or performance issues at all. The controls feel responsive, and the layout is comfortable for both casual and extended gaming sessions. I especially appreciate how lightweight and compact it is—perfect for tossing in a bag when heading out on a trip. Battery life is solid, and the customization options through the 8BitDo software are a nice bonus. It pairs easily with all my devices and has quickly become my go-to controller when I’m away from home. If you don’t mind the lack of Hall effect sticks, this is a reliable and versatile choice.

Great price for a great quality controller! Buttons are not mushy or sticky. Charges quickly and can use it for a really decent amount of time before a recharge is needed. Can use it on a switch, pc, or retropi.

Good alternative switch controller. Solid build quality and good battery. Awesome Dpad. Smooth connection to the Switch. Apparently capable of pairing with other systems. Read the instructions.

It is a great and versatile controller that feels much more 1st party than 3rd as most aftermarket controllers feel. I bought it to use with both my Raspberry Pi as well as my Nintendo Switch. It works very well for both and highly recommend it. Especially if you can grab it on sale as I did

Been using 8bitdo controllers for many years now. This is one of the best to get. Its fantastic for games that requires a good dpad. Fighting and retro games are great with this controller. Can't recommend it enough.

This controller is excellent and I highly recommend it for PC gaming. It is significantly more comfortable than the play station controller and has a much better d pad than the xbox controller. It also comes with a rechargeable battery that lasts for 20hrs. Also the paddle buttons on the back are amazing for Elden Ring; literally game changing. I bind the left one to dodge/sprint and the right to Y to pick up items. This way I can fully control the camera and movement without taking my thumbs off the sticks. This controller is actually better than the 1st party controllers for both play station and xbox; and since it costs much less and you get more buttons, there is no reason not to buy this controller.

Quite possibly one of the best gamepads you can buy for PC and Nintendo Switch. If you love the layout of the Playstation controller, but miss the d-pad from Super Nintendo, then this controller will make you happy just as it did me. The quality of this controller is something to behold. While you might scoff at the idea of paying $50 or so on a 3rd party controller, you can rest easy knowing that this thing feels like a brick - the plastic is thick and feels like something that would be included with an official Nintendo product.

A well built controller. Feel is high quality. Features are outstanding. This is my go to controller for fighting games and 2D platformers. Using the Playstation style layout with the D-Pad above the left joystick makes this ideal for non-3D games. Buttons feel great (no mushiness). D-Pad so much better than on my Switch Pro controller. No more unintentional ups like the offical Pro controller. Turbo, Hold, and Macros along with the cell phone app to customize it with different presets add great functionality and value.

2 year review. Sturdy build quality it feels like a Playstation controller. You can use with Nintendo Switch and PC using bluetooth. Latency is good. Joysticks are accurate and never drifted.

feels great in my hands. love this controller its basic but works very well connectivity and mechanical pieces function how they should and havent had issues. definitely recommend this brand for gamers. I now have the ultimate 2 and use it on my pc daily. best budget friendly brand for pc hands down.

This very easily connects and switches between connected devices with a switch on the bottom of the device. The battery has never come close to going dead for me and I charge it maybe once every week and a half or so. Your mileage will vary with the amount you use it. It's very comfortable in the hand and works well with PC games that I play. I'm definitely interested in 8BitDo's new controllers that were released as this one's quality is top-notch.

A stellar controller that has some small cons that can easily be overlooked. Responsive buttons, and analog sticks that currently work for me. A D-pad that works like a dream for input the Dragon Punches. A button layout and hand feel that perfectly marry the features of the Duel Shock and SNES controllers. Almost to the point of speculating the timeline where the two companies worked together. you can remap buttons in real-time via 8Bitdo's app. The controller sadly cannot wake up your Switch [while wireless] and does not have NFC Support. *If plugged directly to switch via USB it will turn your switch on.

Good gaming controller. It's a little larger than I expected, but fits in the hand very well, and pairs with Nintendo Switch without issues.

I use this controller to play all of my retro games on the steam deck. It's feel is so good and the battery life is crazy good compared to the ps5 controller!

Great controller, bought it to replace using an xbox controller on my computer and it allows me to use it on my wife's switch and my android devices. The app is convenient to change bindings on the controller via android or windows pc. it is perfect for retro games and modern titles as well
