Was bummed that we had to buy the adapter on its own. Good thing I asked prior to leaving the store. Since it was a gift for our son. But it's worth it and works great.

My son lost the original charger. Got this one for Three Kings Day and was so happy. He now is able to use his DS everywhere he goes.

You basically need one of these with any model of New 3DS. I heavily recommend getting it as you will probably want to play your system for more than it's first charge.

Love the way the plug snaps in to make it compact. Cord does feel really thin but I've never had it fail on me yet. Nice to have a spare!

My son uses his 3DS all the time and this new charger is a necessity for anyone with a 3DS. We have 2 because we always like having a back up.

the ac adapter is like any other adapter. I'm just surprised that it wasn't included with the ds itself. NO other choice but to buy it. it seems ok, the build of it.

I personally like having an official AC adapter for my devices. I've had bad experiences with 3DS USB chargers. This one works great so far.

I was not aware that my New Nintendo 3DS XL did not come with a power adapter so I purchased this one. I'm glad it's a Nintendo product too and not some knock off brand.

Sometimes replacement products don’t measure up to the original but not here. Can’t tell the difference from this charger and the one my DS came with.

If you get a "New" 3ds XL since one ain't included with it awesome little handheld though.

Pretty straightforward. It does what it's supposed to do. My only complaint is that the charger doesn't just come with a 3DS and needs to be purchased separately. Seems a bit crazy that Nintendo wouldn't include a way to charge the device, with the device.

This should be included with the 3ds but is not. I dont know how they expect you to charge it without the item. Good thing the best buy worker told me to purchase it

I bought this ac adapter from best buy because of the quality their procucts. Even though I could get it cheaper somewhere else but not with the same quality.

As I have never owned a 3DS before I was surprised to find they did not come with an adapter so if you are buying a 3DS or an XL, make sure you buy an adapter.

Good charger, long cable. Only problem I had is it should have been a removable usb cable. That way you can use it anywhere there is a usb connection available.

Only knock against this product is that it is the main power source, but must be purchased separately. I don't mind the cost. That could be part of the 3DS total price. I just find it odd and inconvenient to have to buy a critical component separately.

Should be included with the New Nintendo 3ds!!!!!!

Standard AC adapter, it does what it is intended for.
