This poor thing looks like someone opened it and rubbed it face down on a rough surface. I kept thinking the screen was dirty. Wrong. It’s scraped up, too.

Product came in great physical shape. The preowned dealer did not remove registration software that does not allow people who are not with whatever organization the laptop was taken from to register. This renders the laptop completely useless and seems like one of the few things they would check before sending one out.

If there was a way to give a zero I would!! This has been an awful experience. I received this Chromebook with crumbs and sticky food on it. I thought I would clean it. I logged on and the letter M doesn't even work. This has been the worst experience ever!!!!

Dear Smitty, Yes, the Chromebook devices do have an end of life date, as this applies to all Chromebooks regardless of manufacturer. While Chromebooks are designed to have automatic updates, as Google explains: "end-to-end updates for all our devices to ensure the highest levels of security requires dependencies on many third-party hardware and software providers so we cannot indefinitely ensure that older Chrome devices will receive updates to enable new OS and browser features." We are sorry you gave the device a 1 star review because of this, and we understand this is disappointing but we suggest you try a power wash to restore the Chromebook back to factory configurations which usually addresses issues such as this.
