Processor works good, it is fast, easy to connect with wireless. DDR4 memory helps a lot. Touch pad is sensitive but not too much. Enough space for all my photos and videos on 1T hard drive. Light, easy to carry on in vacations. Good graphics when I watched movies. Finally, price is more than affordable.

I really needed a new laptop and while I don't game, I typically have tons of windows open, watch programs online and store tons of pictures and videos on my computer, so I wanted a full size keyboard that is lightweight with a lot of RAM. This computer has that.

Unit was received in "like new" condition, and ready to use. I use it mainly to search the internet, and use "Sketchup" drawings.

It came earlier than expected.. Packaged appropriately. When I ordered it I must have just ignored that it is re-furbished.. It took a little while to get used to that fact... Its opening operations went well, But off the bat - It was sluggish , slow going.. BUT after a couple of days - Up dates and getting used to it- ( I mean I only go to e-mail , social media and play the Sims on it..) After a week it, runs much better.. Since it's refurbished- It keeps asking me to update certain things- I am Not used to that..If anyone needs to know- It IS a good Gaming computer.. Over all I feel good about this purchase... This Acer - Aspire laptop has served its purpose over the past few years, and it finally started having problems to the point where we wound up replacing it with a gaming computer. It still works to this day, but it's not as fast as it once was for my son's gaming needs. When we received it, it did not look "used" or "refurbished," and it worked well as soon as we received it. I got it for my son, and he enjoyed using it frequently each day before we finally upgraded. It was sturdy and solid, and he especially liked the 15.6" screen. The colors were vibrant and bright, and it was a reliable computer overall for years - something that can't be said about a lot of computers nowadays. I was happy we got a good deal on it, even if it was refurbished - and on the whole, feel it was an excellent value for a satisfactory period of time. The 1TB hard drive has been useful, and he was able to store a lot of files on it that we can still access easily. We still use this particular computer for my youngest son's remote schooling needs from time to time when his smaller, school-provided laptop experiences glitches and issues. It makes for a nice backup laptop. This one is still more reliable than my youngest son's newer, but cheaper-styled Chromebook provided by his school district. Overall, I feel this was an excellent value for the price we were able to snag it at. It gets two thumbs up from us!

Overall the PC have a good value for money but the fan is too noisy

Not great for a primary or a back up. We bought 2 of these and both have had hardware issues.

My son needed a new laptop for his work as a mechanic for under $300.00 This fit his needs, way faster than his 9 year old one.

I bought this computer for basic school and work purposes. I needed a moderately fast computer that would run MS Office programs well, run school applications well (math/science programs for the computer that run on flash or java or whatever), stream videos well, and connect remotely to my work desktop without a lag in connection. This computer is perfect for my needs. I recommend this computer for someone with similar needs.

Acer in my books, for the money is a darn good product.

Bought this for my mother-in-law and she loves it.

The keys on the keyboard worked when they wanted to. When you typed a sentence you never knew what would get. Computer couldnt remember what the password was.

after installing google chrome hard drive had to format itself to repair errors which took hours....this computer sometimes just freezes.....would nor recommend it

I recently purchased this laptop for my wife and she loves it!

Started by taking about an hour to update, once updated took about 20 mins to boot up. Very slow machine, took forever to load/open anything. Returned it right away, not wasting my money.

So I jut purchased this laptop a few weeks ago for school and personal use, and I have to say, it was quite frustrating during the first few days trying to set the laptop straight. As it's a refurbished item, it is quite sluggish during the few first boot up, froze once or twice, and a forced shutdown. Total frustration is only mildly correct in this case. However, after a few days, tweaking its software, uninstalling the pre-installed useless packs like the acer whatever buying app that take up a considerable portion of the processor during and after the boot up, the machine is a well oiled engine. The only draw back is the touch pad, a tad too big, and the keyboard is placed too closely to it. Also the fan is quite loud at times, so brave your self for the noise. So for those who is planning to buy this item, go ahead. Just be sure to uninstall ALL the extra apps that it comes with, leaving only the BASIC. Otherwise freezing and sometimes force shutdowns may be common.
