This was a great buy! I am extremely happy with this purchase. I initially purchased the 16gb but after running updates I realized that I would need more storage. Surfs well and it's the perfect size. Battery life seems to hold up well, out of the box I poked around the Internet for 3-4 hours watching videos on YouTube. Volume can be a little tricky due to rear speaker. Front facing camera is a little grainy but you are able to capture a usable photo. Rear facing camera is right inline with all of your common devices currently on the market. Fits well in my hands in both orientations. Easy setup, had it connected to all my accounts in less the 15 minutes. Great little tablet, not to mention a great price.

This is the second tablet I've owned so my experience is limited. I use my Iconia for daily tasks such as surfing and email, I don't game. The screen is fine and i haven't had any issues with touch sensitivity. I upgraded to the 8" tablet size after using a 7" for two years. I like to type with my thumbs as I hold the tablet and the 7" fit perfectly, but wanted a little more viewing size. The 8" is perfect in that sense. I've borrowed a 10" tablet and found it to be heavy and too big for the way I hold my tablet. This 8" Iconia is fast enough, has good battery life and is the right size for average male hands.
My only complaint is that the back of it is smooth and slippery, whereas my last tablet had a grippier feel. This makes the Iconia harder to handle. I rectified this by sticking adhesive rubber pads on the back.

I've had this tablet for a few months now and have absolutely no complaints. It works as intended nice screen, nice battery life, the cameras can be better but i don,t use them so its not a problem for me, but my be a deal breaker for some , otherwise i like it a lot. I got it for the amount of space it has and the price i couldn't beat for the quality of the tablet.

Not a bad tablet for the price. I only use it for books, movies, and internet access while I travel. Good buy for the money.

This is a great little tablet. The charge time takes longer than I expected but the battery has been lasting all day so far so it's not a big problem.

It's a very good buy. I bought this for my mum's friend who is over 60-year-old, who doesn't need a fancy tablet and is looking for something affordable and easy to use. She mostly uses it to take pictures in events, browse internet, so this is perfect for her. After using it for a while, she asked me to buy another for her friend as gift.

Solid Tablet for a Reasonable Price

The Acer Tablet is a solid tablet for a reasonable price. Coming in at 8" with 1280x800 resolution and Android 4.4 KitKat, the tablet runs fast , charge fast with 32GB of storage (24.6 available). The glass does smudge some, the bloatware is terrible, and the fake Chrome is attacked by a virus, download Google XYZ is plain stupid.

For the price I paid it works pretty well. Everything that's downloaded into it works well but it does not stream tv well. I guess the processor isn't fast enough.

This is my first tablet and for the price it seems reasonable (about $100). Unfortunately, the instructions in the User's Manual which I had to download don't always work; I had to call ACER's 800 number to connect to my wireless system. Other things don't seem to work as indicated either.

Well pleased with this tablet

I've had several tablets, so have some experience with them. What made the decision for me was the 32GB of memory and the low price. Doubt there will an Android upgrade, so the extra memory is nice to have to download movies and books, since KitKat isn't designed to save much of anything to the memory card. Cameras are OK and basically worthless outside due to reflections (but that's true for all the tablets I've had.) I've been hung up on the front 0.3 MP camera for video chatting, but then realized that's exactly what I had in my Fire tablets -- and I've never used those. :-) Good color screen, good sensitivity (better than my Fire HD8). Wish the speaker wasn't on the back and it could be louder since it is. Wi-fi works great and has good signal strength where my other tablets were marginal in some locations of my house. Resolution if fine for using as an ereader and the big screen shows lots of text (compared to the 6" Kindles), but I think it's too heavy to handhold for long -- at least for me. Well pleased with my purchase and found an ultra slim case that fits my model for ten dollars. Don't play complex games, so can't comment on how well those work. If you're looking for a decent tablet at a good price and plan on using this for simple stuff (Facebook, movies, web surfing, simple games), then you'll be pleased with this tablet.
