I love this laptop. I got it on a great deal and feel like I got a lot of bang for the buck. I mainly got this laptop for work purposes but love that it has the capability of keeping up with games. I don't game often but when I do, I can rely on this laptop for a good gaming experience. The backlight keyboard was important to me because I work at night so this makes it easier to see the keys when I work in the dark. It also is a sick look. Acer builds quality gaming computers and this is definitely one of them. I plan to add more RAM at some point but it's not totally needed right now with having 8gb in it. Great graphics card, I love the size of the screen and the overall look of the laptop is strikingly neat. I would suggest this laptop to anyone looking in the price range for a good quality machine to help them with work or gaming.

This laptop worked as advertised. It played the games we wanted at a good speed and was easy to set up. Should be even better after I upgrade the RAM to 16gb and get a secondary SSD for more game storage. I was also surprised at the build quality of the unit as well. It is plastic but doesn't feel cheap. Overall I'm very pleased.

Amazing for the price it was given. Fast, durable, reliable, and for a laptop at two years old has not shown any sign of age. Only con is that it gets hot easily. In performance use it’s absolutely amazing.

I used to have a macbook air, and when I switched to this computer everything became easier. Me and my husband use it for gaming, and I also use it for school. I love that it reads my textbooks in the voice of my choosing too! So cool!

I’ve used this for work, gaming, and digital drawing, and it’s handled everything. I may upgrade memory at some point, but at the price, it’s a great device; battery life, weight, and size are all perfect for my needs.

I use this mainly for work, but I do play games on it. It runs Destiny 2 on med graphics pretty well. Nice long battery life when not playing games. The fan is loud when playing games, bu tit does not bother me

The price point is great. It also has great speed. The Black and Red make it look super expensive. I got this for my sons birthday and he loves it.

My daughter is a heavy gamer, mainly minecraft, she hasn't had one complaint so far. She said there's no lag so far. When she first got it she took a pic and shared it with her gaming friends, they were all telling her how great it was, some of them said they were trying to get their parents to buy them the same one so I guess I scored cool points with her friends. Lol. She's also been able to complete school during the pandemic on it. Zoom classes and schoolwork was made easy work on this and the 15 inch screen makes it easy on the eyes. If I didn't already have a laptop I might have wanted this one. The red back light on the keys is pretty awesome too. I'm happy with it and so is my daughter.

I was looking for a moderate gaming rig and this one hit the spot. Surprisingly light with a good look. Even came with a storage sleeve. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get into PC gaming.

I bought this laptop for a friend of mine to get her into gaming it preforms excellent for the price just had to add main storage and upgrade the ram other then that everything else was good.

After my 2011 MacBook Pro died a second time due to faulty parts, I was in need of a quick and affordable replacement that could handle Adobe After Effects. After comparing multiple economic gaming laptop, I decided the Acer Nitro 5 was my best bet. Once I brought it home, I upgraded my RAM from 8GB to 16GB as well as added a 2TB external hard drive and it runs like a dream. However, there are a few cons. When at home, I use two HD monitors, but when I use the laptop's monitor on the go, it leaves a little to be desired. The display simply is not as rich and vibrant as my external monitors. Also, the speakers are located on the bottom of the laptop, which can cause a muffled experience depending on the surface you're using it on.

Used for family gaming PC, not hardcore or advanced. Plenty snappy and quick for daily browsing with good battery life. Speakers could be a tad louder and I wish the SSD was larger but that is a quick and easy swap. Would buy again.

I’m not a big gamer but what I do play and use this laptop for is perfect so far! No problems with it being too loud or over heating. Very fast and I love that they keyboard lights ups!

I've only had this laptop for 3 days and have already fallen in love with it. It's sturdy, keyboard buttons are precise, easy to use, easy to learn on. I purchased it specifically for gaming and I'm happy! Our salesperson, Alexis, at the Chula Vista, Birch Rd location, was super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. His customer service is gratefully appreciated by my husband and me. I feel confident with my purchase of this laptop.

This gaming computer is excellent quality, speed, and light weight. Pictures are clear with vivid colors. Gaming is much more fun with this computer.
