I have had this lap top for a while now, it honestly has served me well and runs games very good for what it is, for reference i can play monster hunter world on medium with 35-40 fps. Obviously that is not amazing but for a 600 dollar laptop I think its pretty good. I honestly think you would be hard pressed to find something that performs better in this price range and honestly most laptops in this range cant game at all. I would recomend this to some one on a budget who needs something with a GPU also keep in mind i bought this pre pandemic when 8 gigs of ram in a laptop was pretty standard, i dont know what the updated model of this looks like but i still use it today, not really for gaming but web browsing and lots of other small tasks, it has held up pretty well. If your looking to buy this today and the price has gone up due to everything i dont know if its worth it especially considering that it only has 8 gigs of ram and 4 gigs of vram. It was good at the time and holds up today for me but i would hope they are now offereing a more updated model of this as these days the ram just does not cut it, it is however very easily upgradable so if your liking this and that does not bother you its very easy to buy your own and slap it in, installation is legit one screw and then click it in the slot. Final verdict : its really hard to say because back when i bought it, it WAS a great deal. Today maybe not so much.

Got this for my son for his birthday. We set it up together - which took about 10 minutes - and then after that, he was off and running with it. It's fast, and the graphics are great. It's also been nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend this as a starter gaming laptop.

Honestly, was looking for a entry to mid level laptop to play the sims 4, and this laptop does this and much more! SSD drive loads lightning fast, the 8 GBs of memory is more than adequate to handle my needs. I am excited to start video editing using this machine and will update this review accordingly. You would be insane to pass on this Acer Nitro 5 what with the price point, quality and performance, I am more than satisfied with this purchase.

I wanted a gaming laptop but didnt want to spend $1000+. This laptop has great features and a powerful enough CPU and GPU to run anything that I'm gaming (mostly older RTS and some newer FPS). I did upgrade the ram to 16GB, but that small investment helped up the performance. Great for larger monitors that are not Ultrawide because you can create custom resolutions and choose higher than 1080p output through the Radeon software.

Bought 2 of this and we both love it. Using it for streaming games and got no issue no lag! Great price on sale!

Had a ton of issues with this PC connecting to the wifi. Constant crashes, or connecting with no access. Took a lot of troubleshooting to fix, so be prepared for that. Fortunately there are some great guides out there on how to fix the issue. Ever since getting that resolved it's been smooth sailing. Comes on in less than 10 seconds, effortlessly moves between programs, great gaming performance.

It is a solid affordable laptop. It will run most things though I would have liked more memory to run more intensive games. I ran a benchmark on it for FFXIV and it gave it a solid rating. It is a bit bulky but, it definitely has drawn attention when I am at the coffee shops. Many questions like well does it have Bluetooth. Yes! How long is the battery life? I have used programs on it for about 5 hours and will need the cord to recharge it. It does not take much time to have a full charge. I am going to grad school soon and I am very glad I bought it for that and to have some fun while I am on lunch, between cases, or before I start. Then in September to do the grad grind! Hope this helps your decisions about this product.

I brought this Laptop for my son to use for school and recreation. During Covid-19 schools were closed and online school was a breeze ( video conferences). I have streamed games on this to test it out and the performance is next-gen speeds. The only reasons why it is not 5 stars is the monitor is only 1080p wish it was 2k or 4k and the charger is difficult to replace because of the watt .

Out the door for $725, and within 2 hours I was playing my favorite games with ease. World of Warcraft runs perfect on Ultra graphic settings. Fortnite ran great as well. League of Legends also ran perfectly. I couldn't fit anything else on here as there is only 256GB of memory. Aside from having low memory, this laptop was a good buy for the price.

I bought this for my daughter to use for online classes and for schoolwork - plus a little casual gaming (Sims). Highly recommend a gaming laptop since the speed and quality will last her a long time and I expect this to get her through college. Only downside is the red / black is a bit masculine and I wish you could change the key colors, but she likes it.

Christmas gifts for 2 high school gamers. They said they are fast and are handling everything they have new and old. Very sturdy. Bought gaming mouses for each as well as head phones. We are very pleased Feel we got the best value for our money.

LOVE it. I may not be the best source as I am not a "gamer" but I did need it for a game and am otherwise a Mac person. Completely satisfied with this computer and it is still working as new over a year later. Should I blow it up playing my game I will likely buy another Acer even though I thought prior Acer was a throwaway brand.

Laptop is a great budget gaming laptop! Also can handle daily work.

Overall it's a decent gaming laptop for the price. The video card will run most games at a reasonable graphics level. The backlit keyboard is nice and the overall case quality is nice. That being said. The hard drive is quite small. It will take a standard SSD and for an extra hundred you can add second drive that's in the 500gig - 1 terabyte range. Also add another 8 gig of ram.

Bought this for my girlfriend to replace an old Dell laptop that was on it's last leg. She's not a gamer but wanted something with decent specs and I, being a computer nerd as well as a gamer, chose this one after a hand-on experience at the store. The SSD is fast and boot-up time is instantaneous! The screen is beautiful and everything we watch looks amazing in crystal clear HD. The backlit keyboard is also a nice touch for when we use it at night. Overall, if you're looking for a good laptop with great speed and specs, this is the laptop for you!
