Great system with solid specs. A more potent graphics card would be welcome, but it’s good for the price. This system is also upgradable with room for another SSD and more RAM, so that’s good. My kid loves it.

was playing wow on a old laptop and it would freeze all the time. so this on sale and decided i would pick it up as i travel a lot. was really surprised with the quality of this laptop. game run great and i could see things that i didn't know was there.

Got this on sale for $599, which I think is a good deal for an absolute budget gaming laptop which handles most modern games. I've been able to play games like Doom, XCOM2, and Assetto Corsa at 60 fps, high detail @1080p without much issue. They have an extra RAM slot, so I bought a cheap 8GB stick to enable 16GB dual channel memory. There's also a 2.5" bay so I reused an old SSD from my old busted laptop to store games. The included 256GB drive wasn't quite enough to store my games by itself. It was easy enough to service on your own, and it includes a SSD kit. Overall I have confidence that it can handle most games that I throw at it. One nitpick was that the backspace key seems to caught on something if you press down at it at an angle, as opposed to pressing it straight down.

I’ve had this laptop for a while now. I have to say it’s amazing. I play dead by daylight on it along with visage, fallguys, phasmophobia etc. It handles the games perfectly. Don’t doubt this is a wonderful gaming laptop because it has exceeded my expectations and I love gaming.

Needed a laptop that could handle geographic information systems (GIS) for my map making projects and this exceeds my expectations. I can crank out custom maps without a dent to the battery life. And another bonus is how quiet it is. The fans are not loud at all. Very pleased.

We purchased this computer to run a 3d Rendering software. The computer handled the software really well. It allowed us present a ‘walk thru’ of 2 floors which the client loved. I think we needed more memory, so we may have to upgrade.

It's stood with me, and kept going for 2 years now. It runs most games well, but I think I've slowly killes it. I've bought a desktop now, and might salvage some parts. Then this'll be for movies mostly.

This is a nice entry level gaming laptop. It is fast, quiet, and stays cool. We bought a cooling pad just in case it runs hot, but mostly have not needed it. It does feel very cheap, and the touch pad is not the best. Bought a mouse to compensate.

i mainly use this for bill pay but now i am able to actually start playing games that i have not done on a pc for many years

My daughter bought this after saving up for a year and a half for her first gaming laptop. She started her first MMORPG with Final Fantasy XIV and it handles it like a charm! She is enjoying being able to play alongside me and also being able to have something reliable for school.

Price point aside this is just a great laptop. Please don't let the brand fool you. They did a really good job on this one. It has an extra M.2 slot and with the expandable RAM makes it the best bang for your buck

I needed a low cost laptop for travel. I prefer desktops and this laptop fit my traveling needs perfectly. I chose a gaming laptop because in my experience low cost laptops are usually under powered. The additional performance from the gaming laptop was just right for me.

The laptop performs real good playing games. I play WOW frame rate in the 90's. really nice laptop for the money

Truly love the computer and for the price it was fantastic. I’m using it for gaming and business. It’s been great so far. Would recommend this laptop for anyone looking.

I wanted something for slow times at work. With no WiFi, a way to play my games offline was the answer for me. It runs faster than I expected. I am very happy with it.

Swapped from an Apple Mac book Pro. Myself and y boyfriend actually both got this laptop within a few weeks of each other and we are both enjoying it. Over all it was a good swap. This laptop didn't blow me away when I opened it but it's still a good laptop. Id say the screen resolution was slightly better on my apple, but its still good on the Acer Nitro. Also, the track pad on the Acer Nitro is not the smoothest thing in the world to use, it wouldn't hurt to have some upgrades added to it in regards to how smooth the surface is and how easy it is to press. Also, one annoying thing I found, it is a pain to turn off palm-check. With palm-check on you are unable to play games (yes, unable to game on this gaming laptop) using both the track pad and the keys at the same time. Me being a not very tech advanced person, it was a very extensive and confusing process to find out how to turn it off to be able to use this gaming laptop as a gaming laptop.

I was concerned about buying a Acer laptop, a previous bad experience withem in the past. But i can honestly say this particular laptop is amazing. It is fast and i have had no issuse with games that i have downloaded from the xbox Microsoft store.

Bought for special needs grandson. He has been very hsppy with it. He is able to use it fir gaming, school and socisl media. During the pandemic lock down he used it to stay connected to his counselor.
