Lousy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Install menu assumes purchase for backup not disk imaging. Very confusing. Still don't have c:\ drive imaged. Best buy nicknames should allow special characters

Sucks!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Backup consisted of 4 files, 2 were corrupted. Acronis biggest help was to move the backup to another disk and try again. Could not recover the files from either the corrupted or non-corrupted files. EVERYTHING lost!!!

So far so good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Acronis has been a trusted brand name in backup software for years. I just bought this version to use with a new portable HD I bought here also. It installed easily and I already created a complete backup of my PC. Hopefully I'll never have to use it, but if I do I'm confident that it will do what it's supposed to.

Acronis favorite tool.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have to admit that I'm highly biased for the product. I've been using it from the time that it first started coming bundled with Western Digital drives. Since that time, I have used it to recover from all sorts of disasters. I usually keep a cloned drive with my most recent clean install, just in case.
