The tech was able to resolve the issues related to the receiver not turning on when the tv was powered on and also made adjustments so that the proper input was selected on the receiver when changing between streaming and cable tv. The tech also mode helpful changes to the tv and receiver configuration to get the best video and audio performance.

The cost of professional installation and configuration of my new receiver and home theatre system was money very well spent. Andrew is a very experienced tech and he took the time to make sure all of the connections and settings were properly configured for optimal performance. He even updated my URC remote with some shortcuts to make the system work more efficiently.

Purchased a Sony TV and an AVR for media room. Also purchased the Geek Squad install of the TV and the set up of the AVR to numerouls speakers. The two guys arrived in a timely fashion, carried the heavy TV upstairs and unpacked it, then set it up. Numerous wires and configurations were required, also software updates on the TV and the AVR.
They were patient, professional and thorough in everything they did. The session lasted quite a while mostly due to the software updates. Everything was set up as I wished--even things not bought directly from Best Buy. The guys did a run-through of all the controllers, software apps and gave instsructions on how to best use the system.
Also left a business card in case I had other questions. Could not be more pleased with the service and attitude of the two men. Very highly suggest anyone needing assistance with the installation and set up of their products to go for the Geek Squad service. It was more than worth it.

Due to the complexity of the install of the tv to the wall, I did the mounting and basic wiring myself. I requested a Geek Squad visit to learn about the operation of my new tv. Agents Bradley Lujan and his "agent in training" Josh were exceptional. Brad was friendly and very knowledgeable. My system was not the "cookbook system" that they might have encountered. I drew a diagram of what I wanted and Brad made it happen. I liked that Brad anticipated questions and explained things clearly. I have a background in consumer electronics from the past. I just needed them to "jump start' me on my new tv purchase! 5 Stars for these guys!!

Newbie to the audiophile group. This receiver sounds awesome! Easy set up and very versatile hook ups for amps and can work without an amp. I think anyone that buys this head unit will be rocking and rolling in no time

As I am nearing 80 years old, it becomes more difficult to keep up with all the innovations, and improvements in electronics. As a result we opted to have experts set up our new AM/FM receiver to handle the TV etc. Very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism that your rep. has. We are very happy with his help in setting up the unit, and helping out with understanding our sound system.

A/V receiver and Google set up. I am a big fan of Best Buy, have been for years. Scheduling an appointment with Geek squad was a huge pain.
On line in the app required a credit card . Moments after I put in my card number I got a notification from my bank saying a charge. I had to cancel the card. Reported to BB on line chat and they told me I should go to the BB store and order a service call. At the store they told me I need to schedule on line ?!!! I Note a couple of BB associates said they had changed the scheduling process and it didn’t work very well and was causing a lot of complaints. I went over to the TV department and an associate was able to make the appointment. The service technician was Great, called before hand on time, very knowledgeable and explained everything that he was doing. Very friendly and helpful.

The Service provided by the Best Buy team to setup my Savant system was excellent!!! They found away to install the Ethernet cable with out cutting into any walls when that would have been the easiest way for them to complete the job. They used the existing conduit to make the install work without having to cut into any drywall. I want to thank them for that! The set up the Savant system was done professionally and they explained everything carefully and answered all questions. Overall a very professional install experience!!!!!!!

This appointment was for troubleshooting receiver TV issue. Tech, Ron, discovered HdmiArcPort issue on expensive TV. Made a work around link and reprogrammed system. Set up is different but it does work again whiched saved me thousands of dollars having to not have to replace TV. Thanks Ron

After a couple of delays and rescheduling of my Geek Squad appointment, I could not have been happier with the installation and set-up of my Denon receiver. In short, it was worth the wait. Christine Walters was excellent. She figured out that my prior problems had everything to do with my television and nothing to do with my Denon receiver. That saved me $800 and with the excellent customer support of Best Buy, I received a new replacement television. What’s more, Christine’s installation was excellent and her setup insured that everything worked properly. I could not be happier with the finished installation. I’m grateful to Geek Squad and I am especially grateful to Christine Walters.

Upon my going to Best Buy for a 42" T.V. as my LG finally lost the picture. Jefferson Case was on top of all what I was looking for. Jefferson knew exactly what I was looking for along with all that needed to be set up for Delivery date, I buy all my products with Best Buy & I am also a total tech support yearly. Outstanding service by Matthew and John from the Waldorf shop. Professional and smart. Matthew is an excellent employee for Best Buy. His knowledge of what a customer vision is....is superb.
When I need something I call Matthew no matter how big or small he takes care of me. Example i needed a y connector called Matt done he sent it to me. I needed Klispch speakers called Matt showed him what I wanted. Boom, he ordered them and sent them to my home.

The technician arrived promptly and was able to quickly diagnose and adjust the sound settings on our new Denon AV receiver. I had installed the receiver wiring successfully but unable to get all speakers working. The tech figured it out in a relatively short amount of time.
Geek Squad was timely and efficient and courteous.

The agents came on time they were professional they worked together as a team communicated clearly with each other. They installed the speakers in the ceiling without issues and cleaned up the mess of cutting out holes in the ceiling when they were finished. In addition they taught my husband and I how to use the new system .
