8k TV purchase had some sound issues & sub wasn't working, but it was prior...turns out that it had been cutting in & out & went unnoticed due to rarely using it (15yrs old) I definitely got $worth...I initially thought the Geek Squad wasn't as good as I thought, but now with the new subwoofer my sound problem is gone & was professionally calibrated by knowledgeable techs!! Be very clear & direct about what your issue is when you call in...sometimes the reps who set the appointment can misinterprete...check the confirmation email for the description of the appointment...I specifically said I needed a receiver set up to my TV & my subwoofer calibrated, asked the agent to notate the brand of TV, receiver & subwoofer so the right tech would be sent & the customer service agent scheduled me for a soundbar connection which is simple in comparison...luckily I saw the email and called back in time to get it corrected

I am completely satisfied with today's service. The technicians kept me informed prior to their arrival. They arrived on time. They were very careful setting up their equipment to begin the installation. During the installation they worked as a team. After the installation was completed they cleaned up the areas worked and gave my wife and I a thorough review of how the new surround system worked. Agent upgraded my old Bose lifestyle system to my hmdi only smart tv…..it works great and they also added a device that enabled me to get Bluetooth……it was worth the money

Chelsea was able to assess immediately how to connect our 1990 AdCom Stereo receiver to our 2014 Samsung Smart TV, as well as add on our Apple TV box. She was also able to pair down our using 5 remote controls to the Xfinity, AdCom, and Apple remote control devices. She also helped us determine that our AdCom Speaker Selector was causing the distortion in our speakers, so we disconnected the Speaker Selector and the distortion vanished.
Additionally, she kept asking, "Can I do anything else?", and we continued to find a couple of 'little things'. She was able to rebalance the connection between our Cambridge Audio StreamMagic 851N with our indoor and outdoor speakers so there wasn't a large discrepancy in the volume between the two sets of speakers.
Chelsea was an Audio Wizard for us! She was polite, instructive, and a tenacious troubleshooter. THANK YOU, CHELSEA!

We bought the JBL Home Theater sound system from BestBuy, and the installation process was incredibly difficult. The first agent who came to install it completely messed it up, he dropped and broke on of our speakers, fried the center speaker, and did not connect the wires properly. The second agent was not able to fix the issues either. Finally, Austin Worrel was assigned as our agent and he completely replaced the installation - new wires, everything set-up and working perfectly. We are very satisfied with his work! He was incredibly friendly and nice throughout the process, being understanding and explaining everything thoroughly. He is an incredible worker! We have told everyone we know that if they purchase something from Best Buy to try and get Austin to be their agent. Truly great worker!

This review is for Ryan and his co-tech who came thrice to install my entire home theater system in my new basement. They coordinated with me to get the wiring done before the basement walls and ceiling were completed, and then returned twice to complete the setup of the devices - projector, screen, receiver, speakers, nvidia etc. They faced multiple hurdles while doing the installation, but Ryan had a solution for everything, and took time to patiently implement those. They were always very professional and customer-focused. I will recommend them to anyone.

The agent came to do a reinstall on my receiver for my home theater system. He found out that the receiver was bad and subwoofer was also not working. Had to buy new ones. They came back to install the new items and now it’s all working correctly.

My Geek Squad guys, Sam and Orlando, did a terrific job mounting my LG OLED to the wall, installing four ceiling speakers, setting up a center and two front tower speakers, and connecting my blu-ray player to my new receiver, not once, but twice. When making the connections to the first receiver, they realized that it was for a 7.2 surround setup and I needed a 9.2 receiver setup. They even installed a pair of outdoor speakers for the receiver's zone 2. After all of their hard work, they programmed my logitech remote to work it all.
After they left and I had the remote in my hands, I tried to remember all they had said. Unfortunately, I found a way to screw it up and couldn't get my TV to come back on. After contacting them, at the end of their day, and heading back to the store, they stopped back by my house and quickly fixed what I "ruined" and told me not to touch "that button". :) Many thanks to both gentlemen, they are true professionals!
