Awesome game, very fun, better than the original!!

Waited an extra year for this one to come and it’s worth it! Fun graphical redesign makes it look like a tabletop game, and the new graphics for characters make them pop. Not much has changed gameplay wise but that’s what we wanted. If you loved them the first time and desire a replay, this is a great reason to grab it.

loved the older games that this came from and this was fun to revisit. playing multiplayer was good and map making is fun.

I've been able to complete both campaigns now so I feel that I can offer an honest review. Advanced Wars Reboot Camp 1+2 does a great job reviving a well needed addition to the Advance Wars series . For the most part , I love the cartoon character designs and the partially voice acted dialog adds so much, and makes playing a game over played a thousand times fun . Yeah I wish a voice or two sounded different and a character or two looked a little better, but i can honestly say I'm well pleased. I also enjoy the added cut scenes as well! I like how they stayed true to both 1 and 2 by keeping the CO's balanced the same and being able to switch between 1 and 2 in VS mode and warroom. Honestly the only thing I think they did poorly in this game is the 3D models of the map and units. In the original game the art style was edgy and cool but now I feel lile a toddler playing with Playmobil toys.

This game is a faithful adaptation of the old Advanced Wars games from the Gameboy Advance, with all the modern niceities you expect from today’s games. Its a shame that the launch of this game was pushed for as long as it was, but better a delayed release than a buggy release.

Pros: Just as fun as the Origionals, Improved Graphics, Challenging Cons: No Matchmaking Online (Friend codes only), not many extras included to enhance the game.

Remember Advance Wars? Me too, and this is a great remaster of those fantastic first two games. I’d recommend it to someone who’s played the games prior, but I’d be a little hesitant to recommend it to new Switch owners, as it’s a turn-based strategy game.

I remember the originals on the gameboy advanced. They were good games then and now have new life and the opportunity to scratch that itch for old school turn based strategy. These are the types of games that most benefit from a remake. Well done!

Advanced Wars on Switch is a fantastic remake of om the coolest strategy games. This franchise has been neglected over the last years with a lack of new entries in the franchise and focus on Fire Emblem. Hopefully this remake is a sign of things to come!

Reminds me of getting these games on the game boy advanced. Love that they are remaking alot of the old strategy and jrpgs.

Nice to see this series again. The art style may be an acquired taste for some, but the addicting gameplay is still intact.

Man, my favorite game boyd advance ever, I was 16 when I use to play this game, now at 35 I’m playing for hours again. I beat the campaign already but I play multiplayer or versus most of the time

Amazing game! It is a remix of the older games. It is a great strategy and it looks phenomenal on the OLED Switch!

Really good original that all ages can enjoy. Wether youre a first timer or a veteran this remake brings new feel of excitement that refreshes the original amazing gameplay from all those years ago on the original gameboy.

Its awesome that they have remade this series ! Graphics have been updated and is as charming if not more then the original games ! I would highly recommend picking this game up if your a fan of tactictical games

Glad we finally got a remake of this, really hoping it sells well so we can also get Duel Strike as a follow up. Would love for this series to stand up next to Fire Emblem

Such a walk down memory lane. Enjiyed having these games easily accessible again. Tons of fun for people who enjoy strategy games. Don't go in expecting epic storylines though. This is all about the gameplay.

Great game, worth the wait! I'm thrilled to see how the difficulty scales quickly, and we're really enjoying trying different strategies for different levels. Lots of replayability here!
