We already own the Aeris Aair Lite purifier and keep it in our office where we spend most of the day now that my wife and I are working from home full time. We realized we needed a larger unit for our downstairs as the sqft is too much for one of the Aairs. Between the fires right near our home in Los Angeles, and cooking at home every day this unit has made such a difference. We have an air quality monitor from another brand and it's been in the green since we've had this. The only con to this unit is the size, but for everything in this range it's right in line or even smaller than the competition. Also a nice surprise is that it's on wheels so we can easily roll it around if needed. Setup was as easy as taking it out of the box and plugging it in. We already had the Aeris app installed so adding this unit took just a few clicks. I like that it has a little monitor on it to see air quality and the smart mode sets the fan speeds as required when the air gets worse so you don't even hear the thing running, and we don't have to think about it. We just love the fact that I can go down in the morning and not still smell the dinner from the night before!

This Aeris purifier was easy to set up and get running right out of the box. The only minor assembly required was to install four small mesh pre-filters and remove the power cord from inside the base. The power cord was easy to retrieve and pull out, but the pre-filters were a little annoying to install. They are ill fitting and not the most intuitive to position in place. On the bright side, after I figured out the first, the remaining three were much easier. Despite this, I am not looking forward to removing the filters for cleaning when the time comes. After installing the pre-filters, the next step was to install and setup the Aeris app. That setup was also easy to complete. The app does require creation of an account utilizing an email and phone number for 2-factor authentication. It also requires the device be added to the local Wi-Fi network. It took me less than five minutes to create an account, connect to the Aeris, connect it to my home Wi-Fi and complete the initial app setup. The app doesn’t do a ton but is useful without unnecessary fluff. It allows mode changing, provides filter status and change alerts and also shows current air quality and historical trends. The app uses a 24-hour clock and I can't find a way to switch it to a 12-hour clock. Some users may find that annoying. The Aeris operates in smart mode by default. This mode measures both outdoor and indoor air quality along with usage patterns and adjusts the airflow accordingly. Indoor quality is measured by the device and outdoor air quality is based on the current air quality of the zip code entered during app setup. The purifier can be operated via a touchpad on the top of the device or from the app. The touchpad has a monochrome digital display that shows the mode, power status and AQI (air quality index). It will also flash to indicate whether it is awaiting a connection from the app or is successfully connected to Wi-Fi. It also allows operation of the child lock. There are three operating modes available: auto, manual and sleep. I primarily use auto mode because the Aeris runs quietly in the mode while effectively sanitizing the air of harmful irritants. I am allergic to dogs. We have two dogs and although both are small and considered hypoallergenic breeds, I still frequently experience red, itchy, watery eyes and sinus issues. I can usually quickly tell whether a purifier is actually cleaning the surrounding air or just blowing around unfiltered dust and irritants. After firing up this purifier, I have experienced zero allergy symptoms in the room where it runs. Even if I go to a less allergy friendly area of our house and develop symptoms, they usually disappear after a short while once I return to the room where this is running. I also noticed the air quality is noticeably better and smells fresher. It smells clean with no hint of dampness, cooking nor any other typical lingering air odors. I’m not surprised because the filter in this thing is enormous. It ships pre-installed, but I had to open the lid and take a peek at it. It’s huge and expensive to replace, costing nearly as much as some less expensive purifiers. Once I saw it, I recognized that it’s roughly the same size and style used in some newer whole house HVAC systems. If auto mode isn’t sufficient or desired, manual mode allows manual adjustment of fan speeds. There are six manual speeds available. Any speed setting below three is relatively quiet. Three is noticeably louder but still somewhat quiet, like a white noise machine or CPAP. Four and above is where the noise starts to pick up and six is what I consider annoyingly loud. It sounds like a loud box fan running on the high setting. Auto mode works fine for me 24x7 and I’ve had no need to switch modes. Even overnight, it is comfortably quiet and neither the sound nor display interferes with nor disrupts our sleep at all. For those who prefer manual operation, modes can be switched on the device or within the app if desired. The Aeris purifier is quiet, low maintenance and very effectively at cleaning large volumes of surrounding air. The combination HEPA/charcoal filter is huge and makes it easy to see why this purifier is so effective and costly. The Aeris is easily among the best purifiers that I’ve used. I won’t touch on the price or whether I feel it’s a good deal because that is highly subjective and best left to each individual consumer. What I will say is that I can achieve similar results with less expensive purifiers. They likely aren't quite as effective at filtering down to the exact same micron level as the Aeris, but they relieve my allergy symptoms with proper care and maintenance. The Aeris is an excellent purifier for those who need it and can afford/justify the price. For those who find the pricing prohibitive, there are definitely cheaper options available. They may require a little more attention and maintenance but will provide similar relief in the long run.

Aeris Cleantec - Aair 3-in-1 Pro AERIS can fairly claim that this multi-filter, fully automated, smart air purification system is a premium solution. Setting it up and using it for a week provides a convincing demonstration that these air purity professionals have your home environment well managed. The AERIS would not be out of place in a professional office space or classroom and, of course, a home. It leaves me with the feeling I’ve made a great choice for my family. I seem to recall when my interest in air quality only involved “cedar fever” and a variety of other seasonal allergies from trees and grasses. And now, of course, we’re in the middle of a virus-caused pandemic. I’ve been using a strategically placed light duty air filtering system but it’s not enough. I still had those itchy eyes. And, rolling over and sleeping late is not possible if I’m too stuffed to breathe. I’m ready for a serious air filtering. Here’s my experience with the Aeris Cleantec. Spoiler: It’s an exceptional product. SETUP and OPERATION: If you prefer detailed instructions along with pictures for guidance, you’re gonna be frustrated. The simple guide is helpful, but look online for somewhat more complete instructions. Even those leave some gaps: 1- The entire unit is ready to go out of the box, almost. You need to dig out the cord from one of the lower air vents. Easy enough. Don’t plug it in yet. 2- You’ll discover the bag of 4 washable filters that fit in the bottom air intakes. Do not tear away the finger loops. Simply bend the loops forward, keep them facing out and up while you gently push the filter until it kind’a feels like its being held in place by friction. (The filters have a shape that hints at the orientation. The edges want to sit flush.) It doesn’t feel very secure or snug even when properly placed, but it works. I’d guess these filters are simply an effort to keep hair balls or tumbleweed out of the fan motor area. The serious filtering is hidden from view. 3- Now Plug the Aeris in. You’ll see the simple icon-based controls light up. The center screen is “I’m listening” while you get the App downloaded. Meanwhile, everything can be managed using the circular control panel without the App. You can enter a manual mode or a SMART mode where the electronics are making decisions about filtering speed. But, let’s check our APP management. 4- Use the Aeris CODE in their online manual or simply search the Apple or Android APP store for Aeris SMART control App. The APP will direct you to establish a local W-Fi network between your phone and your AERIS on the path to handing off the Aeris to your home Wi-Fi. It’s all straighforward and directions in the App all make sense. After the Aeris is on your home Wi-Fi, close the App and re-open it to ensure your phone is also back on your home network. Check it. You’ll be directed to set up an account and name your device. 5- The App gives you complete control over air purifier setting, scheduling, and manual setting or Automated control. In addition, the App creates a continuous measure of your inside air quality alongside a measure of the reported outside air quality from your local area weather reporting. The Aeris trusts that you know how to read graphs. It’s very nicely done. PERFORMANCE: This attractive, waste-basket sized Aeris 3-in-1 is very professional looking and should be at home in any office, family room, or other home space. YOU never have to do anything until the APP lets you know a filter change is required. But believe me when I tell you it’s monitoring air quality. The 2nd day of ownership we decided to Insta-pot a stew. Well, the beef browning action got away from us, and we’d forgotten to turn on the ventilation fan. The AERIS recorded bad air quality (AQ rising from AQ 2 up to 354) and quickly increased fan level to high while it reduced the odors and air particulates back down to our typical level 1-2. As long as we’re talking about fan level, let me share some sound levels. At 3 ft away, in my very quiet home (43dB avg) the AERIS lowest speed - I measures below ambient room noise. I can’t get a sound reading. The AERIS operates between level 1 and 2, 98% of the time. At speed - 2, I may be measuring 42-43 dB. Still too quiet to be sure it’s not my normal house noise. At speed - 3, 50 dB. At speed - 5, 63dB and at speed - 6 it rises to a max of 70 dB. During our cooking “incident” our open kitchen/family area got so smokey we hit the highest fan level which stayed that high until odors were mostly removed, about 90 minutes later. The AERIS steadily settled back to the lowest levels. Without the AERIS, we could expect to wake up to lingering odors the next morning. Not this time. The APP keeps on top of collecting data, showing how clean the air is in the moment or as a continuous graph for the past hours, weeks or months. Our cooking incident shows up as a green mountain on the analytics chart, tracking air pollution over the next hour as our air recovered. The AERIS will warn us when the filters need replacing. We’re left with immense confidence that we’ve chosen the best possible solution for our air purification needs. CONCLUSION: The AERIS is a rare product that leaves me feeling great that I’ve made a perfect choice for myself and my family. It justifies its price with a mix of best-of-class design, filtering performance, air sensing technology and advanced control features. I keep using the word professional, but you have to see this in your home to appreciate the wonderful construction, sleek design, sophisticated control panel and the APP that been really thoroughly and thoughtfully designed. I can’t recommend this any higher. Too bad there aren’t 6 stars.

SETUP: Setup was incredibly easy. You take it out of the box and it comes nearly fully assembled. The only thing you need to do is pull out the power cord from the base. It also comes with four filters that go on the bottom of the device where it sucks in air. These filters weren’t the easiest to put into place as the instructions weren’t super clear making this the only “difficult” thing. But once you figure out the correct way to put them in they snap into place easily. You can then download the Aeris app. Once you sign in (which requires your phone number which some users won’t like) it will walk you through a quick setup process to get the Aair connected to your wifi. This whole process takes about five minutes. Then bam, done, and getting great air. THE APP: I used the App on Apple. Overall layout is simple and intuitive. I didn’t have any issues with it. My favorite part is that it automatically pulls what the Air Quality Index is outside depending on your cell phones location. Then also tells you the air quality that your machine is registering inside your home. Which is pretty neat. From this app you can also control the device by putting it into auto mode, night mode, or manual mode. It has an “Analytics” tab which can be broken down to hourly, daily, or monthly and is a graph of indoor and outdoor air quality throughout the day. Last you can add schedules and programs if you so wish. It also shows you the filter life and notifies you when you need to replace it. BUILD QUALITY/USE/AESTHETICS: This is a super sleek and well-built device that will blend in in nearly any environment. It weighs about 40 lbs. but comes with four wheels on the bottom when you need to move it. The filter is where most of this weight comes from. This is easy to take out. The top is held on by magnets and comes off easily (but is secure otherwise), then you just pull the filter out, put a new one in, and then reattach the top. On the front right, you have your buttons if you don’t want to control it through the app. Going left to right you have the power on/off, auto button, and then manual button to increase or decrease fan speed. Then just above these buttons is the screen that shows the Air Quality Index of the room it is in. It comes with a little card that tells you what excellent, good, and poor levels are. PERFORMANCE: This guy is an absolute beast and can quickly clean air even in the most challenging of environments. With it being a 3-in-1 it eliminates nearly everything. Most of the time mine sat at about 1 – 2 AQI. During flares such as cooking or when smoke was around it would ramp up. It would quickly get back into the 20’s but going from 20 to 1 would usually take about 10 – 20 minutes. With the fans being so quiet (mostly around 30 – 40 dB) I would completely forget the device was even there and on. Even at its max settings (~60 – 65 dB) it sounds like your typical fan, but you can tell it is moving a serious amount of air. I kept mine on Auto Mode most of the time with zero issues. Shortly after setting it up I could tell the improvement in the air. But most importantly throughout using it I no longer notice any bad smells and the air constantly smells crisp.

Aeris Cleantec - Aair 3-in-1 Pro HEPA Air Purifier - Graphite Summary: Quality built long-life HEPA air purifier. Pros: * Quality build. The components and modularity of the product appear top-notch. * Svelt look for such a behemoth. The unit is BIG. But, it looks like a Gonk droid or something. In the right spot, you wouldn't notice it much. * Easy to service. This is a third point extending the first two. This unit is easy to service as it uses magnets to secure all points of access namely the pre-filter grates and the cover which provides access to the filter. * Sufficient air-handling volume. This unit at max seems to move a lot of air^. * Clutter-free app for use or reporting. * Massive surface area HEPA filter. 4/5 of this unit might just be the compartment for the filter itself. I was tempted to see if the filter itself contained something it was is so big! But it is just boxy with deep pleats. * Quiet normal operating volume. You won't notice any noise from the unit unless you live near a coal plant or fry a lot of food or own a flatulent corgi. In which case, it can ramp up pretty quickly and be quite loud (for an air purifier). * Large filter. I am hoping this translates to longer use time because this unit otherwise has the equivalent capacity as a Dyson Cool Link (which I operate on my second-floor office). I've only had this unit a week so we'll see what the reality is. Cons: * BIG. There is just no getting around the size. I saw the dimensions on the site and figured it must be packaging. Nope. Have room and space around the unit for optimal functionality. * The controls on the unit are a little wonky. I still can't remember what some of the buttons do. I just figure it out when I need to make a change and then forget later. Weird, because I am a relatively competent tech guy. * Intake placement is not optimal. For the size of this unit, I would expect air intake to be present along the bottom as well as below midway or midway. As is, air comes in about 1.5" above the floor - that is going to make tough work for the pre-filter grates of this unit. Use: I use this unit for the same reasons I use a Dyson Cool Link on a different floor. I needed help keeping my air a little cleaner than it is. I like keeping windows open, but it's wintertime, and we've had lots of smoke from fires before that, and well, outside air is nice but often also just dusty. I also have two dogs that love nothing more than to roll in the dirt as soon as they get a bath. One is a schnauzer aka walking-strip-of-velcro-for-allergens-and-dust, and the other is a corgi aka most-prolific-of-shedders-and-rollers-in-dirt. We have a robot vacuum daily, we manually vacuum with higher-powered vacuums weekly, and follow up with smart mopping. We have carpet on our stairs and in the bedrooms and catwalks. So dust just gets trapped everywhere despite our best efforts. We're okay with that, we just need help with our air. Enter the Aeris Cleantec. While the size of this unit is somewhat offputting, it does look svelt and unobtrusive when you place it properly. Definitely follow its advice on placement as it will optimize the benefit you receive. The unit overall is quiet during daily operation. Its sensors seem to be working as I'd expect and they operate almost in sync with the Dyson Cool Link one floor above when we're doing stuff and not properly ventilating: i.e. frying food, cooking with splattery ingredients, boiling stuff, etc. When my corgi decides to crop-dust, it comes on as you'd expect as well if not at a higher setting. Higher fan speeds obviously pull in more air, but it also makes more noise. Is it tolerable? Sure, as long as it isn't a constant thing. 5 minutes here or there and it's not an issue. This unit is quieter than the Dyson Cool Link when they are both on. So a 1 on the Aeris is like a 2 or 3 on the Dyson. I assume this is a function of the larger fan moving more air than the tiny fan on the Dyson at equivalent settings. The filter on the unit is huge! I have never seen anything like it. Maybe it's just a square version of an HVAC HEPA, but still, I was shocked. All of that surface area should guarantee better flow for a longer period of time. I have enough filters to remember. Can I tell the difference? Yes, I think I can. Since putting this unit into service I have noticed what I describe as a more metallic smell to the air. Or maybe the way cold air smells. If I put a box of baking soda in my aquarium maintenance room and come back several hours later, it smells like that. Not pungent, musty, dusty, but a cool clean. I wish smell-o-vision was a thing. I also wish I could upload a video to help you judge loudness for yourself. I also don't notice some of the strange odors my dogs can leave in a room/area they've been lounging in. That is most definitely a plus. If it could just suck up all of the corgi air as a vacuum, that would be awesome! ;) Though I am unfamiliar with the brand, the appliance seems well built and does appear to be working. All-in-all I think it is a good purchase if it lasts longer than similar (but smaller filter) units for the same volume room(s). Only time will tell!

My wife and I have pretty bad indoor allergies and have run the gamut of air purifiers (at least in the sub-$500 range), but they are still bothersome. The Aeris Aair 3-in-1 is the first real PRO grade air purifier and it lives up to its claims. This thing pulls through a serious amount of air, even on the lowest setting. It is so strong you can feel a breeze on the other side of the room going in its direction! Again, that is on low! Also, as soon as you see the filter for this thing, you will understand why Aeris is able to claim all the things they do for this air purifier and I can attest that I have seen a marked improvement in my allergies finally and a significant decrease in dust in the room. Also, they air just smells better. Not that our bedroom is smelly but we have our cats litter boxes in our master bath and usually I can get a whiff when he does his business but I haven't noticed that since we fired up the Aair. That gives me confidence that it is also filtering out all those other things that aren't as easy to identify such as viruses and other small particulates. I have only one knock on the Aeris Aair Pro 3-in-1, and that would be the App. I think the Aair works best when I have it running a bit higher than low during the day and then dropping to the 'Bed Time' mode when we go to sleep. I was very happy to see that I could program the Aair to do just that without my constantly having to fiddle with it. Unfortunately, the App does not make it easy to set times from night until morning since it does not recognize 0600 to be for the NEXT day and not that day, and therefore gives the warning that the 'end time must be after the start time'. That made it so that I had to make the nighttime mode from 2200-2359 and then another from 0000-0600. If that was the only problem, I wouldn't have even mentioned it but the REAL problem came the first night at 2200 hours when the Aair didn't drop into the 'Bed Time' mode and instead rocketed up to the highest level! I tested it out repeatedly and it did it every time, so now I just keep it on the lowest mode all day. I would have knocked off a whole star from the review if the team from Aeris hadn't replied to my email to them so quickly and kept me up to date on their progress fixing it. They were also able to recreate the problem in their own units and thanked me for bringing it to their attention. That being said, I'd probably dock this a 1/2 star but we can't do that here. Anyway, the App functionality is really just gravy when compared to what I really need and that is an incredible air purifier, and the Aeris Aair 3-in-1 is certainly that. Oh, and don't let the price of the filters necessarily sway you from getting this. I know they are $200 but when I did the math on my previous air purifier, it was only $40 less for the year. The Aeris filter lasts for an entire year while my other purifier needed to be cleaned and have the dual filters replaced every 3 months. I know this whole thing isn't cheap but my wife and I are already breathing easier, and are very happy with the Aair. I think you will be as well.

COVID has changed so much this last year, and one of those things is considering what we are breathing in at home. Aside from changing the air filter in our AC, we did not do anything else to help the air quality at home. COVID, and the fact that we added a pup to our family, had us changing how we think of the air we breathe. We have an open concept floor plan so we were looking for something that could tackle the larger area with little issues. The Aair seems to be handling it with no hiccups. Setup could not be easier, you pop in the 4 plastic filters at the base of the unit, unravel the power cord, use the convenient wheels at the base to roll it into position, and plug it in. There is an app you download to help get the unit on your WI-FI, after which you will be able to see the status of the unit through the app. I was happy to see that the AQI read around 3-4 when it first turned on. After a few minutes it was down to 1. The entire process from unboxing to being connected in the app took less than 20 minutes. So, how well does it filter the air? The most obvious way that I have noticed is when we are cooking. Again, our floorplan is open concept, so our kitchen opens to our living room where we have the Aair stationed. During our time cooking, I notice the AQI went up to about 12-14. This change is picked up almost immediately. Once we finished cooking the AQI dropped right back down to 1-2 within 10–15 minutes. Another instance where I was able to see a quick and drastic change was when we decided to grill some burgers on the patio. I kept leaving the back door open as I went in and out, so smoke from the grill was making its way into the house. I didn’t really notice this visually, but when I passed by the Aair unit the AQI read in the mid-20s. Just like before, as soon as we finished cooking and we had closed the door to the patio, the reading went back down to 1-2 within 15 minutes. I have left the unit on the Smart Mode within the app so it has changed to better filter the air on its own. The entire time you barely hear it unless you are standing close to it. Again, this was setup in our living room, and it’s a barely a whisper so does not interfere when we are watching movies or playing games. I was able to read my book sitting about 5 feet away from it and forgot about the Aair unit. This air filter seems great. It might be a bit more than other units, but you are getting the ability to filter a large area, and to filter out just about anything you can think of, including some viruses and bacteria. It has a super easy setup; the app is an added convenience to be able to track the air quality in your home. I don’t think I will be moving it around much but the wheels at the base will make it very easy if you want to move it from room to room. This is an easy recommendation for anyone worried about the quality of the air in their home. I feel this would greatly help as well if someone in my home came down with COVID or some other respiratory illness.

Yes, this a pricey air purifier and that's just a simple fact. This to me is for the consumer that has health issues or is concerned about air quality where they live or work for example. This has a great style to it and will look modern and contemporary in any setting. This is an all in one solution appliance for your home. Eliminating indoor air pollutants is essential to my family's breathing with our respiratory issues and allergies. I've noticed this air purifier when it's running has made our air feel cleaner and less musty or stinky. Aeris states that this purifier can clean 99.95% of indoor air pollutants such as dust, pollen, mold, pet dander, smoke, and also virus including coronavirus. I have some peace of mind with this running and have noticed my allergies have decreased with the purifier running and cleaning the air in our home. The app that is available will help to keep this a smart system and allow for remote viewing and access to start and control the unit. It shows you the air quality outdoors based on your zip code and will adjust the indoor air quality as it sees fit based on the sensors picking up pollutants within your space. Seems like a good investment for our home and I like the way it looks in our home without being an eyesore. It has been whisper quiet when it runs, and when the pollutants are heavy it will adjust the fan speed to draw more air inward, and you can also control the fan speed manually. The touch interface buttons are easy to read and operate, and it gives this a nice upscale look. My wife and I are finishing our basement currently, thus creating massive amounts of sheetrock dust, especially during these winter months as it is distributed over the forced air HVAC system. While I don’t plan for this unit to get the pre-filter screens clogged from dust in said basement, there is plenty of dust circulating about the house. Previous to installing this unit, I had to dust daily to minimize unsightly debris from gloss black speakers, plus TVs, coffee tables etc. Now that the unit is running, I feel I’m wasting my time dusting more than 2x or 3x a week. One of the best positives I did not initially recognize, nor purchase for has been elimination of cooking smells. They no longer permeate the entire house for hours (ok, days). I do notice that the unit cranks up the fans and becomes louder, and have seen he AQU pegged at 999 after making an omelette (and burning the bacon badly), but within a couple of hours it seems to “clear the air” and the fan speed returns to normal, as the AQI drops back to 1 (lower is better). Aaris app connectivity This issue proved a little troubling at first, but Aeris Customer Support was quick to help me out. Hopefully this will save you some time. Step 1 - download the app Step 2 - (+) add new device, select Aeris 3-in-1 Step 3 - ensure unit is in “Listening Mode” (tap “a” button or hold for 10 seconds ) Step 4 - LEAVE THE APP - on your iPhone or Android, go to device Settings, Wi-Fi, and select Aeris-xx Step 5 - Re-enter app and provide Network name / password. *NOTE* only works on 2.4 Ghz networks Once I figured that out I was off to the races. While you can certainly use the app to increase or decrease the fan speed, we now simply press the “a” button and leave it on AI / Auto mode. If it detects indoor (or even outdoor) AQI air quality decrease, the unit will automatically accommodate. Ours has been running hands-free for weeks. PROS + easy to follow directions + set it and forget it AI + designed in Switzerland + whisper quiet 85% of the time + auto-sense air quality indicator + Aeris mobile app is helpful + Casters provide easy portability + roll it into other rooms with foul odors CONS -replacement filter $199 cost (per 12-18 months) -external filter screen placement can be tricky at first (one-time) -Aeris app setup, read steps above, LEAVE app to connect to Wi-Fi -No 5 Ghz support (yet??) (2.4 Ghz only) -clean air has slight not unpleasant odor to it (like a candle) CONCLUSION After reading several reviews from different manufacturers, I decided to give Aeris a shot. Despite the more costly $199 air filter, they seem to have better technology. As our basement is being finished I’ve decided to add another of these units, though it’s placement is in master bedroom, and won’t move downstairs until after sheetrock dust has cleared (and clogged up our cheaper air purifier pre-filter carbon screens) I deducted ½ star for app connectivity issue requiring support, and ½ for the expensive year and a half filter. Excellent product, easy Recommended BUY.

WOW - what an air filter! it's huge with multiple stages of filtration. This is a very nice machine. Runs super quiet. Blends in nicely with room aesthetics. Other machines don't look as nice as this one. Setup is super easy - remove from box, insert the lower intake filters(dust, small particles), plug into the wall - turn on! and it's going. lastly, you can set up the app and connect to wifi for more personal settings to prolong filter life. No latches or screws to replace the filter. all magnetic - pull the lid and lift out, simply drop in a new filter when the time comes. I use it in my office - my 3 dogs generally are in the room with me. This machine easily handles the space. SO QUIET - I do hear it running but it is like white noise, low low hum. My work laptop is louder!

My title says it all. I have a large dog. She stinks and this filter scrubbed the air in my family room. Set up was easy. The pre filters were not that easy to put in place. It kept on popping out while I tried to install. Other than that it was plug and play. Wifi and app on android was a cinch. Filter technology uses carbon filters which takes out the stink. Looks is sleek. Buttons are easy to use and easy read. Great job Aeris. I would recommend this product.

“iRobot” now owns this company. The filter is huge in this thing. If you want maximum air to actual filter media ratio… this is the one to get. The amount of surface area the air hits on the filter has to be more than whats on the market. Had one issue with touch sensitivity of the power button and the company sent an update to fix it. Customer service is amazing. It is all connected to wifi and the app gives you your local outside air quality and indoor air quality. The air filter quickly lowers particles in the air as you watch the numbers go down. Your air inside your home will be better that the fresh air outside according to comparing the numbers on the app. I also purchased the medical air filter which is a gigantic charcoal filter with hepa. I got that to abosrb wood smoke. I saw a review about the intake not being filtered. It is filtered. Their are 4 prefilters that prevent dust from building up on the fan. The fan is powerful. Maximum power is insanely high.

I moved to Alabama from California and immediately started feeling the physical effects of seasonal allergies. In this humid environment it seems molds are also prevalent in the air. This air purifier removed pollen and molds as well as the smell that comes with living in a damp environment. Definitely worth every cent.

This is a well built unit that is easy to operate and has worked extremely well. The filter has lasted a little more than a year.

This unit does everything they say it does and the filter is something else. After a full year of use none of the dust or anything made it to the topside of the filter. This unit has basically run, in some mode, non-stop since it was purchased. I know the filter replacement is a bit expensive but when you look at the cost of other units and the fact this one only needs to be replaced once a year, it actually comes out less than most others.

Overall, I would say that this air filter does a good job at filtering the air. However, there are some major design and technical issues that I think should be put out. Number one the device does not come with any remote it is all controlled through an app. The app is awful I have One gigabyte speed Internet and still the device will frequently disconnect and the app has like two stars in the App Store. Number two you are not able to turn off the display screen on the device so if you are using it for a bedroom it keeps the whole room lit at night. There is a sleep mode but it barely does anything as far as the brightness goes. Those are just the things I would look out for, the device does it’s job. But, I would recommend a different air purifier due to the issues I mentioned above.

The app sucks. It constantly disconnects from the unit. The replacement filters are pretty expensive but only have to replace it once a year. Have had this for a couple years now and it seems to work okay... just not a fan of the app.

I have been putting using this thing heavily for the past few days. I must say I am very surprised at how well it performs. My home is older and I have 2 pets in the house and live in a rural area. I have sinus troubles at night sometimes when I am sleeping. Since I started this thing up and its been doing its thing. The house has a different smell, I keep a clean home, very clean, but this thing really takes care of anything thats airborne. My sinuses have cleared up completely and I actually feel better and I don't think its coincidence. To be sure I turned it off and my sinuses acted up and here I sit writing this review at 531 AM. The filter is 3 layers of protection and they are antiviral, activated carbon, and hepa. In short it removes everything down to .1 microns, thats 1/10th of a micron, and that is tiny. You can manually control it or use the App. The machine has AI programing to adjust to your life-style. This will save you money on your utility bills and filter replacement. The filters are designed to last 12 months or longer, or less, depending on use. Its whisper quiet around 35db on low and medium settings, a little louder on high, and rolls with ease to anywhere you want it, even over rugs etc. This machine will purify 390 cubic feet a minute and over 750 square feet overall. Making it perfect for open areas like living rooms, or in between open rooms, offices, work shops, hobby rooms, anywhere you need it. After you're used to it, you really don't notice it sitting there either, it just blends in with your furniture. I have the graphite and most of my furniture are earth tones and it blends right in. You dont have to be tech-savvy to operate it, just place it, plug it up, turn it on, set the fans to what ever you want, 1-6. It will adjust to your daily use by powering off when you leave and on when you arrive back home. The app is available for android and Apple devices. Its measurements are 14.56×15.23×23.62 in and weighs 33-40 pounds..Plus its Swiss made, and very well constructed. Customer service is good and a great warranty. I honestly can't find a downside to this thing especially if you have allergies, COPD, asthma, other allergens , if you burn dinner, the list is almost endless. This thing really does, what it says it does, and then some. I've have other air purifiers in the past. One I paid well over 1200 for and this thing runs circles around it. This thing is worth every cent and could possibly very well save you money in the long run with health costs with allergy meds, and sinus meds. You really do breathe a lot better. Even my cat hasn't been sneezing and she used to sneeze a few times a day..This unit is a win, win...I highly recommend it ..

You get what you pay for. After the recent Shady fire in Santa Rosa, our home was filled with a lingering campfire smell. Our smaller air clearner with UV was not helping at all. We bought this unit and the smell was virtually gone within one day.
