    An amazing Nikon 500mm PF lens and light enough for this 70 year-old man to hand hold at shutters speeds of 1/640. Vibration reduction is even more outstanding than the Nikon 300mm f/4 PF, which I also own. Focusing is lighting fast especially in Sports mode. Couldn't be happier with results! Sold my Nikon 200-500 to buy this lens, my arms thanked me.

    I had been putting off buying this lens. I finally decided to go ahead and get it as I wanted better glass than the kit lenses that came with my camera. I have not been disappointed. This lens is quick and grabs focus immediately. I did have to go into my camera a do some AF fine tuning (-6 for my camera) but after that it is spot on every time. I highly recommend it.

    This is the sharpest Nikon lens I own and is great for shooting wildlife and in particular birds with my Nikon D850 due to its low weight. I plan to purchase a teleconverter for it to extend it to a 700mm lens for shooting astrophotography (moon / sun) and slow / fixed position wildlife. I have read it works extremely well on the Nikon mirrorless cameras, which is good as I plan to move to them in the future.

    Amazing lens, incredibly tack sharp. Pairs great with my Z6 with the FTZ adapter. Price is high but if you do birds or other wildlife, this is the best you can buy without going into the exotic lenses.

    Great lens for wild photography! Ordered one and this $3600 lens box was crushed and torn halfway. Returned it and ordered again but just a bit better condition then previous one. Best Buy needs to handle more carefully. Also left a review but best buy just deleted my review. They censored all review i guess. What a shame. Product is good, however BestBuy is not ready to do businesses. Im sure they will censor this review. Shame on you Best Buy!

    This lens is awesome. I upgraded from the Nikon 200-500 5.6. It is much sharper and a lot lighter to carry. You cannot go wrong with it!
