My opinion. Ive been a PC Gamer since 1992, and have always enjoyed the "Civilizations" and Master of Orions" of the world. I have always enjoyed the TBS better then the RTS, especially in my slower years.:-) . I have owned an XBox One (S) for 3 years and Age of Wonders: Planetfall is the best TBS for that platform I have played!

If you aren't familiar with AoW games, each 'class' has it's own perks to make them stand out from the others, battles can be done manually, IE: Turn based, or automatically, battle by numbers with computer running the battle for you 'behind the scenes'.....If you have never played a AoW game but you enjoy Civ, I'd highly recommend this game! It's simply great! Fair Warning, I only get to play games on Saturdays (being a single father, working 50+ hours a week) and every Saturday has be happily consumed by this game! Highly recommend this game!! :)

Good game with lots of features, screen I hard to decipher at first and learn the options but gets better over time.

I love this game, it's a lot like a civilization revolution for the xbox 360, the fights are similar to xcom with cover being provided and it can be destroyed as well. All aspects of this game are turn based so keep that in mind when thinking about purchasing this game.

I like this game. Reminds me A LOT of Sid Meiers Alpha Centauri. However, not having stats for all other factions in regards to their standing in the world gives me almost no way to guage my progress against them. So if you put a lot of time in, meet a mystery faction, and they are super advanced you cant catch up to defend yourself.

It is good game. It is normal to hard to figure it out.
