I purchased this in February and received it during the warmer days 52 deg and above. I want to use this in the living room. I have one for the dining area. I plugged it in to test it and when the compressor kicked in, I was pleased. I did not vent it out of the window to test, but the air was definitely frigid. I love the fact that the louver moves up and down in order to dissipate the air.Let's see how it holds up for the summer weather which is most likely going to be HOOOOOOOOT!

Very hard to find drain hose that will work. But found out a regular garden hose will screw on the top drain for continuous drainage. Works well other than that

I am not sure if this would be a proper review..Ok so first off it was damaged when i got it so that is the reason for one star.. Not sure if it was like that before UPS got it but i got it damaged so for that I had to drive an hour from where I live to return this item to the store.. But honestly I will be ordering another on for the price an this time I will be picking it up from the store.. If it's damaged then it won't be coming home with me... Plus I love that are reviews on things but even with bad reviews you have to take it upon your own judgement if something is worth the price or not don't just go on what others say.. Not a bad thing to keep it mind but make your own choice is all I'm saying..

Great purchase! I set up the timer for 4 hours before bedtime and the room stays very cool and comfortable until the time I wake up for work. The best part of this item, I can contol the flap to whichever direction I please to set it. Easy installation.

Compressor was faulty out of the box and the manufacturer has no contact information aside from an email address
