Ordered this on preorder, not disappointed. this being an HD port of the original, it does a good job for what it was working with, a psp title. The combat gameplay is a bit lackluster as in the original, but makes up with its quirky/bizarre story of dealing with vampires by stripping their clothes. not a serious game, and its enjoyable in that regard. It's a niche game, but refreshing, this edition I bought came with a bunch of little things to go with the game, from the bigger box, OST, artbook showing the art, nice touch for a game that's collector edition is cheaper than another's standard.

Mechanics are a bit clunky and the visuals aren't the best, but the game and story are somehow still quite fun. Lots of customization, and the game isn't too punishing. Need to have a lot of patience for the 30-enemy missions, because the game will lag.

This is so different then what i am use to....just sayin. I blind bought this game....and to be honest it is a fun time. The object of the game is to strip the cloths off of the vampires so the sun can kill them. Yep that is the game for you. Parents be awake this is the UNCENSORED edition. The deluxe edition of the release is great you get an art book in the box....and alot more.

This is an adult game. With that said, it comes with a fantastic lil art book, the game, and sound track.

Strippers, vampires and anime, who knew? Definitely a quirky game but not for the little ones!

Played the second game on ps vita had no idea that there was a game before this one. It’s a fun game but requires the player to open minded when diving into this game

Akiba's Trip has not aged well in its transition to modern consoles. It looks like it did all those years ago and there are no major new features here to speak of. Its just a very basic game all around, probably worth the $20 I paid but not much more.

Really fun game that brings back memories of the psp days.

For starters, I did an in-store pickup for this and they tried to give me a completely smashed box. I ended up getting it somewhere else as BestBuy has damaged just about every product I have bought from them. The game is mediocre and runs rather poorly on the Switch. Overall it is not worth the full price unless you enjoy playing games that have poor framerate.

As confusing as it is that this game happened at all, I loved having the chance to play it. Akiba's Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed might look like a game that should have stayed on the PSP, but the satire and humour is there, the grainy rendition of Akihabara is still enough to make this homesick otaku miss Japan, and the action remains on the right side of simple and entertaining that you can enjoy it while it lasts. Akiba's Trip isn't going to win GOTY awards, but I sure enjoyed collecting a big pile of skirts.
