I was a little skeptical about this game when i purchased it. there are really no games that are scary on xbox until now. This game has you wondering around a space ship and investigating everything . trying to sneak around and avoiding an alien trying to kill you!.

This is how an Alien game should be. Get some good over the ear head phones and turn out the lights. You don't want to go around the next corner because you know the necromorph is going to be there except it actually snuck up behind you. Ties in with the great early movies. Great graphics and sound design.

Awesome game. It's only single player but if your a fan of the Alien trilogy you'll love it. Great graphics and great storyline and scary. It even comes with Alien Isolation Crew Expendable full game download which is the same game different storyline. Your aboard the Nostromo with the original crew. Which is closer to the movie.

I was a little skeptical at first when buying this game. The reviews on gaming websites varied so much. I love the alien franchise so it was easy for me to pick up and play. It can be tough and frustrating if you choose a harder difficulty. Remember... This is not your typical shooter or action adventure. You are essentially defenseless against the alien. The pace is very slow and that alone is a problem when the game is 14 or so hours long. It is one of the best alien games to come out but that truly doesn't say much. But if you are an alien fan otherwise I say it's a rental.

While the game does have some flaws, its definitely a fresh take on a 3d shooter. It changes things around because you pretty much have to hide from almost all the opponents in the game. Once I started playing this, the story was good enough that I continued to play it until I had beat the campaign

Game is good. Very tense as you have to constantly worry about the alien. One knock on this game is the padding though. It makes you unnecessarily go back and forth to complete mundane tasks from time to time. Still recommend though.

The professional reviewers seem somewhat split on this game, having received some high marks with a few low marks sprinkled in. I personally found this game to be amazing. I am still playing through Mission 7 at the moment, and the ability of the alien/droids/bad guys to notice your actions and find you is pretty great, making the game a good challenge. I play with noise detection on in my house, and my dogs bounding through the room occasionally will draw the unwanted attention from the aggressors. The music and sound effects do a great job of enhancing the feeling of having to hide or sneak around to avoid detection while building the suspense. Great game all around.

First off, if you're looking for a first person shooter/action game, look elsewhere. If you enjoy thriller games like Outlast, this game is for you. The game perfectly recreates the look and atmosphere from the original movie, it's amazing. This game creates more tension than any game I've ever played, you feel like you're in danger at all times. I'd give it 5 out of 5 stars but there are some performance problems. The cutscenes are choppy and the game drops it's frame rate more often than it should.

I can't play this game in the dark by myself. Very close to the movies with special effects and scare tactics. Using with Kinnect allows for your movements and sounds to be detected by game elements.

This game truly draws the player into its world and keeps you there. Headphones are a must when playing to enjoy the experience to its fullest. This is survival horror at its best and the graphics are amazing, buy this game now if you do not already own it.

After the recent Alien games I was rather against buying another one. I saw the demos and what not and liked what I saw and bought it. Good story and at times scared the heck out of me haha.

Pretty good game thus far. I haven't finished it yet but will add an update when I'm done. This is my first Alien game even tho i'm a huge fan of the Alien franchise.

Holy cow, not since the original campy resident evil or the first dead space has a game been so atmospheric and just intense. On hard you WILL die, and you will curse the alien but you'll have a blast doing it.

Alien: Isolation really nails the atmosphere of the 1st film. The unpredictable alien is truly terrifying, as no 2 encounters are ever exactly the same.

The atmosphere and feel of the Alien movies is spot on. I loved the concept of the story, the need to think, and the silent terror the game induced. My one huge issue is that early on in the game, you'll run into a situation where you find revolvers, but can't even pick them up. The situation was ridiculous to the point of jarring for me.

i love this game!! The alien franchise should be proud of the work the team put into this game. The graphics are point on with the alien lore. Highly recommend this product!

This game is for survival horror fans that like a challenge. You can play stealthy or you can die ....your choice..lol

This is the best game to release in the Alien franchise in a long time. I played on Medium difficulty, after constantly dying from human maniacs shooting me.
