I've been slowly updating my classics library to blu ray, so catching this at such a low price with a digital copy was a must. Solid movie for anyone wanting a more action based storyline in contrast to the stress inducing feeling of the first movie.

The Blue-ray copy is equal to being in the theater. I saw this movie in the theater at the time, and this copy is equal in sound, visual quality. Had me on the edge of the seat while watching.

This is one of the few sequels may actually surpass the original movie. Never ending suspense and action throughout the entire picture. If you have not seen this movie rent it. And make sure it is the special edition. You get a longer ride that way.

I've always loved Aliens and adding this special edition to my library is a great addition! The extra minutes on the extended version are great especially with the automatic sentries scene! This is by far the best aliens movie from the frachise!

This classic film by director James Cameron is one of the best sci-fi thrillers of all-time. This movie is a sequel that is better than the original. In fact, you don't really need to see the original to enjoy this movie. I never get sick of watching it.

I really like the little extras here and the movie is very good still to this day and good as the first movie maybe even better. BR looks good and clear compared to a dvd I even like the cover art looks nice.

A BUG HUNT! Had a minimum number of characters required for this. Did not think that pun through. It's Aliens, if you're thinking about buying it, remember, IT'S ALIENS, it's the best one, just buy it.

Memorable characters, memorable situations, and White knuckle suspense that few movies deliver on. One of the few occasions where the sequel is actually better than the original. This is the pinnacle of the franchise.

Very entertaining movie for those that are fans of the series. However, one downside is that the digital code is only for the theatrical version and not the extended edition that is on the disc.

I can't pick a favorite between Alien and Aliens....the first was extremely suspenseful and creepy. Aliens took away from the creepy factor a bit and jacked the action way way up. Still love it after 25+ years.

In my opinion, this is the best of the Alien series. Director James Cameron is a master at building suspense, every aspect of the production is top notch and the cast is stellar. Highly recommended.

I've owned several copies of this movie over the years. I bought it for the extra commentary pieces. One of the best Sci-Fi movies made! Quotes from this movie still make rounds at family and friend gatherings.

The booklet is cool, and pics are cool, the only tiny issue I have is the James Cameron interview. It is not on disc, you have to go to FOX website and see it. It is cool, but wish was on the disc and longer.

A must for the home collection. Blue ray looks good for a movie from 1986 (little grain, but adds to the movie atmosphere). Movie comes with both the original 1986 version and the 1990 extended edition.

What can I say, it's James Cameron's treatment of a great franchise. Gotta have as a fan of J.C. or Aliens. True classic. Needs 4K treatment.

This is in my personal opinion the BEST Aliens movie of them all! The action and suspense in this movie is unmatched compared to the others. Store line is Awesome too! A must own...

Loved the original alien movie. However, I loved this one more for the continuous action. This movie has a lot going for it...Alien Queen, Space Marines, Women with high testosterone, special effects galore.

Man, this movie is still great! It has action, horror, and a surprisingly emotional subplot about Ripley (in the extended edition). This movie stands up there with the best action films of all time!

The best of the franchise, which is how it works for many films (Star Trek, Raiders of the Lost Ark, etc). This was the beginning of strong female action heroes with Weaver's portrayal of Ripley. A must have for Alien fans.
