This Alienware gaming PC has been perfect for both my gaming and family needs. As a casual gamer, it does exactly what I need — from playing Call of Duty: Warzone smoothly to running my Steam library without issues. My son loves using it too for games like Space Engine, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, and Minecraft. It’s powerful enough for gaming, but also great for work, school, and everyday internet use.
The design is sleek, and I love being able to customize the RGB lighting to match my setup. I also picked up the upgraded Alienware full keyboard, and the RGB integration with the Alienware app is an added bonus that makes the whole experience even better.
Overall, this PC has been an excellent choice for both family use and gaming. It’s reliable, customizable, and delivers great performance across the board. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a powerful yet versatile setup.

The performance is stellar. I tested a few high end games such as Cyberpunk and it did really well.
I had some connectivity issues with my Sony headset but it somehow fixed itself.

This Alienware Aurora has been excellent right out of the box. Performance is exactly what you’d expect from an Ultra 9 + RTX 5080 — most modern games run at Ultra (or very close to it) without breaking a sweat, even at 4K. For high-end gaming, it absolutely delivers.
The big disappointment was the included mouse and keyboard — several letter keys didn’t even work, making the combo effectively unusable. Anyone buying this should plan on getting their own peripherals.
Bluetooth range is also weak on this model, so I’ll be using a USB Bluetooth dongle to fix dropouts. Lastly, 2TB fills up surprisingly fast for modern gaming, so a second drive is recommended.
Great machine overall — just budget for better accessories and extra storage.

Greetings, prospective buyer. I've had this Alienware ACT1250 since the 4th of July weekend. I use this mainly for gaming, specifically with Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020 running on a 3 monitor set up (playing at 1440p) and with the GTX 5080 on it, it runs very well.
I've run other game types with this too (FP shooters / RTS / Racing, etc.) and it plays everything without missing a beat.
I did upgrade the 32GB RAM to 96GB (GSKILL sells a lighted pair of 48GB of DDR5 RAM that works with this) and installed another 2TB M.2 for additional storage as well as a 4TB 2.5 inch SSD. That's all there is for storage so your mileage may vary on needs. I know you can get a 4TB M.2 now so you may want to look at those.
At any rate, it does indeed run very quiet. I've installed MSI Afterburner using the default fan curve and the hottest temperature I've seen the GPU get over hours of playing is 67 degrees celsius. There is plenty of cooling in this design and having come from an Alienware R12, this is definitely a better design concept in terms of airflow / cooling and temp control. The usual bells and whistles come with this through AWCC (changing the LED lights / Balance and performance modes while gaming). The only better version of this would be the Area 51 but you're looking at an extra $1k (ish) on top of this price.
In summary, I'm very happy with this purchase and this will be my gaming rig for the next few years. If you don't have the time nor inclination to build a pc, you can't go wrong with this guy right here. Happy gaming!

Graphics and speed are amazing. The fans are whisper quiet. Loads fast and gameplay is seamless. My only criticism is for some reason it doesn't recognize the keyboard on first start-up, but does after a restart.

So I got this one to replace one that DIED horribly in an overheating issue with the processor. It's Nice. Though I've had issues with it "freezing" or "Pausing" would be a better word for it. That could be more to do with the external drives though than the actual computer. It's nice, fast, and mostly quiet till I ramp it up to do 3d renders. Overall I like it... Just thinking I may have to re-think the drives in it...

Good pre built pc. Its fast and very quiet. The design looks very nice. It is bulky but you are paying for a quality desktop. I am very happy with the purchase.

I love this thing! I bought it with the hopes that it would be able to run Inzoi and a bunch of other games, and it’s a dream I play with ultra high graphics on all games. Palworld, battlefield, Inzoi, Minecraft, etc. the nerds online said I shouldn’t get it because I can customize others, but I’ve only had Alienware (very blessed) and I know how reliable mine was for all those years (just under 10 years before I needed an upgrade) I am not disappointed at all. I didn’t have to open a case to make it better or make it work, and I won’t ever need to. I can’t express how much I love it.

Alienware Aurora (Intel Core Ultra 9 285K + RTX 5080)
The Alienware Aurora Gaming Desktop (2024) with Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, 32GB RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB is a strong, production-ready system for AI workflows, especially for ComfyUI, video generation models, LoRA training, and fast inference workloads.
Performance for AI & ComfyUI
RTX 5080 (16GB VRAM) handles:
Stable Diffusion / SDXL smoothly
ComfyUI workflows with ControlNet, AnimateDiff, and custom nodes
2-minute AI video generation (depending on model & resolution) without VRAM crashes
VRAM is well-balanced for video diffusion + LoRA usage, though extreme multi-ControlNet stacks may still need optimization.
AI Video Models
Performs well with:
AnimateDiff
Video diffusion pipelines
Image-to-video and frame interpolation models
2-minute video generation is achievable with proper batching and optimized workflows.
CUDA and Tensor Core performance noticeably reduce iteration time compared to older RTX 30/40-series GPUs.
LoRA Training & Fine-Tuning
LoRA training is fast and stable:
Good epoch times for SD/SDXL LoRAs
Can train multiple concepts efficiently with gradient checkpointing
32GB system RAM is sufficient, though 64GB would be ideal for heavy dataset preprocessing.
LLM & API Inference Speed
Excellent performance for:
Local LLM inference
Image generation APIs
~60 images/minute via API (model & resolution dependent) is realistic.
LLM response times are fast, making it suitable for:
Chatbots
RAG pipelines
Local inference testing

I like the quality that Alienware provides & the memory avaliable to play my games. My last computer couldn't keep up with my needs & I couldn't use many games. I'm excited about all the diffent applications to use with this computer. The cooling system is cool so it doesn't overheat. I need more time to use all of this & make a better review.

What can I say, It's AlienWare. Awesome at what it does. Not to fond of Windows 11 on it but, meh. Everything works great. Needs better directions on the Alien Control Center. But figured it out in the end.

Solid platform for running GPU-intensive applications for AI or gaming. Straightforward set-up and quick to boot up/reboot. Have had for about a month and has worked like a dream.

Alienware is not alienware, it is dell and it is junk. Bought one and the motherboard bricked on day one. Exchanged it and the second one had all sorts of problems. After two hours of infuriating “support” from Dell, they told me number two needed a new motherboard. Returned it and got a custom system from a local builder that is rock solid. Never again. Don’t buy Alienware!!
