Secondly I was expecting the unit to come as liquid cooled, however the computer stays cool!, Also I am experiencing some difficulty with "wake-on-lan" feature, this function is disabled in bios so am curious whether the onboard nic supports it.

Fortunately I know NEVER to buy an Alienware PC ever again. I purchased this computer to have it when I got back from vacation. Once I had a couple weeks to use it I've had nothing but problems! This computer if sitting idle sometimes for even as little as 30 minutes the USB components (keyboards, mouse, anything else for that matter hooked into USB) shut down. They don't recieve power and the only way to restart is a hard reboot. Can't believe it. Display ports do not work running a duel monitor setup - or so i thought but this also goes for just a single monitor. They go blank or blink black in and out after 30+ minutes of use. The only fix was disabling the Intel Display driver and leaving the Alienware active which now leaves your mouse scroll unsmooth and overall is just something a PC like this should NEVER have a problem with. But low and behold hundreds of other people across the web have had the same problems. I wish I had purchased this computer and used it in the weeks I did. I would have returned it as fast as you could snap your fingers! Not worth half the cost at the downfalls this system has. Alienware I'll never use your systems again. Lived and learned.

With regards to your display not appearing after it is left idle, we'd recommend that you check and adjust your Power Saver settings. Here are the steps you can follow:
1. At the desktop, click the Search the web and Windows box and type "sleep".
2. Select Power and Sleep settings, then select Additional power settings at the bottom of the screen.
The Power Options window appears.
3. Select Balanced (recommended), Power saver, or select Create a power plan on the left side of the screen.
4. Customize your plan settings as desired.

My only negative factor is that this unit will only be applicable to Windows 10 OS. I have contacted customer service and they had advised me that this particular computer Aurora R6 was not tested/recommended for any other Windows OS. I prefer Win 8.1 personally and the specs did not state that the Aurora R6 is for Windows 10 only.
