Can't get browser's to load.

Browser's wont load. When you try to get on the internet the tower reboots itself. Wired or wireless. The PC had to repair a drive when I first turned it on and it had a nice alien background. When I rebooted the PC the wallpaper was gone. May be a used PC. we will see what the geek squad says on June 21st. Will re-review after the appointment.

Buy or Build?

I went back and forth for weeks doing builds online with long part lists and for the cost it was the same price and came with a warranty. I was worried about the quality because how could Dell have included the same quality parts as I could source independently? But the reality is they did. The fans are silent and keep the PC cool at all times. Evening running games at 60fps i dont hear the fans. the buttons on the case feel fantastic and I have had 0 software issues. The PC feels reliable and I spend hours and hours on it everyday doing homework. I have never owned Alienware/Dell before and I will forever be a fan because of this exact machine. Please give it a chance!

This computer is by far the best computer I have ever purchased. Don't listen to people saying it's over priced, people buy it for the name etc. Dell is an excellent product and alienwAre is there top of the line. I bought the ibuypower 930 for $1079 first and it didn't meet my expectations and had low FPS while using flight sim X-Plane 11, an Msi GTX 1060 graphics card so I immediately returned the product plus it didn't have the DVD/cd tray. When I fired on this machine and played my flight sim it had WAY BETTER performance with the nvidia GTX 1070 and I'm shocked on how excellent and fluid it plays games compared to the ibuypower pc, nothing against the company the just use cheaper components and hardware for a cheaper budget. No need for any upgrades with this rig for years to come, I'm so excited when I fire this thing up it just performs flawlessly with actual high end components and not aftermarket ones. I would recommend this computer if you can Want one of best performing rigs right out of the box. Also if your into heavy gaming like COD, gta5 etc. this machine is for you. Thanks you DELL for coming out with this beast of a machine!!!!!

Exactly What I Expected

What can I say? This turned out exactly as I expected after reading the build sheet. I am coming from console gaming after having left PC gaming over 10 years ago. My financial situation is substantially different from what it was 10 years ago, so I can afford to spend a little. I was torn between building a PC with a GTX 1080 or buying this one with the GTX 1070. I know I could have made the 1080 work with a similar price point as this pre-assembled model, however I have never assembled an entire PC. I've changed some parts out here and there, but never built one from scratch, ran wires, etc., etc. I debated for a while and decided this was the route I wanted to go. I am 100% satisfied. I paired it with some nice additional hardware purchased elsewhere (logitech mouse, razer mech keyboard with cherry mx keys, and a Dell 24 in. 1440P G-SYNC monitor. I've added some more RAM (32GB total), installed an additional 2.5 in. Samsung 850 PRO that I had in a laptop, and have paired some USB C devices up as well - but even as it came from Best Buy, I was very happy. Trust me, you won't regret this tower. Even the looks are subtle enough for a grown man - it's not as gaudy as other Alienware systems. I can play every modern title I've thrown at it with ULTRA settings 60 FPS or higher - sometimes even 120 FPS. If you're on the fence, I fully endorse this system for the time and stress it saves you instead of building your own system.

Really loud fans tends to crash for gets too hot so the fans have to be set at a high setting consistently during gaming. Has been stable until last week now it’s a software issue and completely crashed.

Researched a lot of PC's before deciding on this one. Very easy to set up and it is a gaming beast! It can play just about any modern title on max settings comfortably. This computer is amazing with plenty of space for more RAM or storage if you feel you need it.

At first I bought the IbuyPower PC with similar specs (i7 1070 gtx card 128 SSD) but when the Aurora was on sale last week I decided to upgrade and get it. I AM SO GLAD I DID! although the Ibuy powers pc is good for beginner PC gamers the auroa was a step above and handles PUBG like a champ. its also a small case doesnt take up much space and is easily upgrade able.

I just purchased this computer after getting a ROG Laptop that i did not like at all.. I always thought Alienware was all hype, I can honestly say this is the best computer i have ever used, even the custom build i did doesnt compare to how smooth this computer is.. It boots in a second. love it! best ever
