This machine has a sleek package and lots of ports to attach things. I was aware of it being touted as a gaming machine when I bought it. The performance of some of the software is another matter, though. Microsoft Edge mostly just hangs on nearly any request, while something like Chrome gets the link immediately. Some basic software was included, but a lot of the apparent software in the menu is actually a link to go buy it. I can't speak to its gaming performance, as it was not bought for that purpose, but it does seem to handle chemical calculational software well. I have experienced a number of sudden "hangs" and spontaneous restarts in general use, which can be annoying if you are in the middle of something. To me it seems usable but inferior to my older model Dell on Windows 7, which leaves me mystified as to how this could be a gaming machine. Perhaps it has a software conflict. It's a nice machine, but the software bugs should have been work out first by putting it through its paces. This is actually the second machine; I returned the first one in four days because Edge hung so much that I couldn't download any programs. I got the second one to be usable by bypassing Edge altogether (once I realized that this was a common problem). I speculate that this behavior might also be the result of opting out on Edge tracking all of my internet activity so as to provide targeted advertising.

Good computer so far after first one returned as geek squad had to set up windows 10 for me. Seems to be working as it should so I hope it does not fail.

The computer is excellent, but the keyboard is not good enough for a gamer. The keys have a tendency to stick, and the layout is not ergonomic.

Great for gaming, great for personal use, quality is A+. I could not be more satisfied.

Bought this computer for the speed and was shocked that it has 8 core processor. This is very fast machine. We don't use it for gaming, but I do lots of videos and this computer speeds up my video processing.

I love this Alienware Aurora R6 Desktop computer. It has a compact clean look, not a bulky one. I got it when it was on sale $1,350. I've been using it for the last 2 weeks now. The i7 chip, 16gb, gtx 1070 helps me with graphic design and some gaming. So far so good.

This PC right out of the box works awesome. I run it for 4k video editing and large RAW format photos. Lightroom runs flawlessly with 0 lag when making adjustments. Davinci Resolve works perfectly even with support of 4k video without to much load.

Have had this computer for about two months. It's a bit more expensive than building your own and didn't come with a monitor, however this thing delivers in terms of performance, runs everything at highest settings without stutter, great gaming PC.

I decided to buy this computer for my son from reading many great reviews, and especially because of the wonderful insight I got from the employee who sold it to me. He said it would be a great gaming computer and he was right, my son loves it!

This computer does everything I ask it to do with ease. There is no reason to read a review on this PC, the brand and the specs speak for themselves. If you don't have the time to build your own, then go get one of these and have some fun.

Good computer does what i was looking for this was a open box and had to have Best buy set up Windows 10.

This Pc does everything that I expected, and more.

Very quick start up time with the SSD for Windows booting. Haven't played a lot of high end games but Minecraft runs at a minimum of a few hundred fps. Rust and DayZ both run smooth a Ultra Graphic Settings.

I had a fatal computer crash and needed an immediate replacement. This computer met all my requirements and was available for pickup. I paid more than I wanted for a new computer but this machine is a work horse!
