Pros and Cons
+ Can play all games on Ultra with ease I play PUBG, Diablo 3, CSGo, Gears 4 and Forza Horizon 3
FPS: 50-200+
+ System isn't loud and stays cool even without using liquid cooling.
+ Not a bulky system
- But inside the case is tight and probably hard to upgrade grade.
- Case lights work when they want to due to poor design and placement of lighting connectors they always don't hit the connection points and you have to keep taking the side panels off and on to make the lights work.
Overall a Great PC for an In A Pinch buyer I was able to finance mine for 24 months. other then the lighting problem I'm happy with the product. Good looking case for a simple design. My system runs on a 24" Asus monitor Max resolution 1920 x 1080.

I got this to replace my built gaming PC, from a few years ago. It had a GTX 970. I decided to get this because on sale it was a decent value. When you add up the processor, memory, HD, SSD, GPU, CPU, its not that far off compared to building your own. The last rig I built had really great performance, but it took a lot of tweaking of the fans, motherboard, etc. to get there. I decided to try this as a ready to go unit, and was not disappointed. This rig is fast, quiet, performs as expected with little setup.
CONS
PSU is lacking, only came with 450w, but good enough for a single graphics card.
Cooling fan control program is not that useful, the OE setting works great.....but if you want to tweak it turns the fans into screamers....but I did get this to not actually have to tune.
Stock CPU cooler is used, but is adequate.
PROS
easy setup, compact size, fast performance CPU & graphics.

Excellent Computer

This computer performs flawlessly. Setup was easy, and I had the entire system updated and running no time. Being able to run most games at the highest graphics setting is something new to me and the GTX 1080 is amazing.
Pros: Overall performance, graphics, ability to upgrade components. Plenty of HD storage space (2TB)
Cons: I am not a big fan of the split drives with a small OS hard drive (256 GB, m.2 SSD in this case), and a 2TB HD. (And please note that this is more of a personal preference on my part.) So if you want to upgrade your boot drive, remember that.
As a note, if you want to add an SSD and/or a 2.5" HD (there are two additional bays) you will need to purchase SATA cables. The aren't expensive so not a big deal.
Other upgrade options:
CPU Fan
RAM
Graphics Card (you can even run multiple GPUs if you desire)

I love this computer! It handles everything I throw at it and more! My only small gripes is that I wish it had a liquid cooler but this CPU is locked so it's not entirely necessary. That, and I wish it had a higher watt power supply. But over all it's amazing.

I love this computer. The speed is awesome, fabulous graphics and sound. My only complaint it won’t wake up with the mouse or keyboard. Other then that it’s a 9+ to me.

I realize Alienware has a reputation for being overpriced, but I decided that I have always wanted an Alienware machine and due to a terrific open box discount, I was able to purchase this machine for about what it would have cost for me to build it.
This machine has been serving my gaming needs flawlessly since purchase. I have had no problems with the machine at all and every feature of the machine has worked. Dell does a great job of keeping the machines updated and hotfixing any software issues that arise.
The only problem I see with this machine is that it appears to be difficult to replace internal parts. I would consider this machine's case mid-sized, and therefore things can get tight in there. But for the average consumer who has no real interest in modifying the internal workings of the machine, I say this machine will serve you well.

I bought this on sale and it kept restarting randomly so I returned it and got a replacement. The replacement is super fast, but also had a problem with restarting when I used the internet about half the time. Thank goodness I have purchased Geek Squad. They are fixing it now. This computer has great specs. The games I played so far were smooth on the highest settings. I would recommend this to my friends, but also let them know I had 2 computers that did not work correctly and the second one had to be fixed. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and customer service of Best Buy.

I am getting back into PC Gaming and I used to build my own rigs all the time. I don't have the time to do that anymore so I bought this. It has worked great. No issues with setup or compatibility with any or my peripherals. I even have this hocked up to my TV. Every game I have played has been are max details and no issues.

I was skeptic at first of whether I should build my own or buy it made already. With price of individual parts sky rocketing it felt pre-built was just about the same cost. Decided to go with Alienware and no regrets! It’s quick and awesome for multi-tasking use! Recommend for those who would like to do gaming and stream.

The product is awesome. The only drawback I faced was, I missed on the Liquid cooking system. The model from Dell cones with Liquid cooling system as standard. So I hoped for the same. But after I opened my CPU it was just fans to cool the system. Liquid cooling was missing. Better buy from dell.

I bought this when my old Dell died suddenly. I was looking for something fast that I could set up and get going without a lot of downtime. This Alienware machine did that perfectly. Added bonus is the SSD for programs and the OS. Blink of an eye quick.

I love this machine, I bought a different computer because my laptop was having problems running VR games and it ran them worse than my laptop did. So I returned it and bought this, and I'm beyond happy that I did. This computer has been wonderful, I can run every game i have flawlessly. It processes super quickly in photoshop and illustrator. There's nothing I do on the computer that it's unable to handle 10/10

Pro's
1. Fantastic performance
2. Under load, not too loud
3. Nice form factor
4. Design isnt childish
Con
1. I probably spent too much
2. For this price, no back lit keyboard and dirt cheap mouse
3. Too much crapware. I thought Alienware limited superfluous software.

Okay, I should make the disclaimer that even though this is a 'gaming' computer, I don't use it for games. I got it for the speed and ease of use.
The HDD that holds the OS and software apps is lightning fast. I LOVE that! I was easily able to add two more hard drives to more than triple the storage space. I'm ready for years of enjoyable computing.
My only complaint is that it took me a while to figure out how to manage the Alienware update notification that would pop up and take over a small part of my screen. Small stuff, really.
I'm very happy with this computer!

If you are looking for an off the shelf system that can handle 4k gaming, here it is at a great price. No, you don't need to spend $3000 + to play the latest games in Ultra/4k (which I've done before). You'll never get that money back. The 1070 version can also but the 1080 is noticeably smoother. At the time of purchase, VERY much worth the extra $100.
