Amazing Sound, Comfort & Battery Life!

The Alienware AW920H is hands down one of the best gaming headsets I’ve used! The sound quality is incredible, with deep bass and super clear highs—whether I’m gaming, watching movies, or listening to music, everything sounds crisp and immersive. The Dolby Atmos support really makes a difference in FPS games like Call of Duty and Apex Legends—footsteps and directional audio are spot on. Comfort-wise, these are super comfy for long gaming sessions. The ear cups are soft and fit well without feeling too tight. Battery life is solid—lasts a good 30+ hours on a charge, and I love the fast USB-C charging. The wireless connection is flawless with zero lag, and you can even switch to wired mode if needed. Only small complaint? The mic quality is decent but not amazing—it’s fine for gaming and calls, but if you’re streaming, you might want a dedicated mic. Other than that, this headset is 100% worth it if you want top-tier sound, comfort, and wireless freedom!

Sound quality is great, especially with Atmos on, and the control through the Alienware Command Center is excellent. It's a little tight around the ears, but YMMV (i rather like it that way). Main issues are that Bluetooth connection has a pretty noticeable lag beyond what all my other BT devices get (using the USB dongle eliminates that problem), and the touch-based volume controls just aren't great.

These headphones have decent imaging to pinpoint locations, have a small mount of leakage but you shouldn't have to worry about distracting others around you. Interesting design, and good comfort. The stock tuning is pretty dark, lowering the bass will improve the audio by a bit. This is my second unit due to the prior unit having some really poor touch control issues. I have found that swiping directly on the Alienware logo produced the best effects so if you're having issues, try that. I've used other capacitive touch controls like on the Sony XM4, and those are leaps and bounds better compaired to these. If you wear glasses, you'll likely experience discomfort fairly quickly, so I recommend wearing a thinner pair, or contacts if you got them. Once situated on your head, they're very comfortable and I have worn them for several hours with little discomfort. The multiple ways to connect are great, but notice that if you're using the wire, the boom mic doesn't function. Besides the minor dark sound profile, and possibly finicky touch controls; the headphones have a good comfort level and produce a good sense of imaging besides having very minimal sound stage. It's not bad for a $200 pair of active ANC gaming-centric headphone. I can recommend them.

Alot of negative reviews out there but usually they are straight out of the box, like everything else nowadays update the firmwires from ACC app. both the dongle and headset, the touch controls seem to have improved but i dont really care to use them. ANC is not the best but it helps , works well with pc and love how i can plug in the dongle into an ipad air and get amazing clear sound vs bluetooth . 2.4ghz makes a difference. The build feels solid althoigh id be careful not to over widen them or they could snap. Rgb lighting is prob best cosmetic feature, makes them stand out

I'll say for my first product from Alienware. I am truly impressed for what it's worth. I will give a great 4.5 out of 5 Stars, due to the Different Ways to connect to Devices (Including Bluetooth, Adapter, and Wired Cable), Long Battery Life, Decently Comfortable Earpads, and most importantly the Audio. It really gives you the upper hand with its surround sounds as you game against people online for a long period of time.

    A Nice Headset Overall

I am using this headset with the Alienware X14 Gaming Laptop. I prefer using the headset with blue tooth because the fewer cables I have to plug in the better. I like to end a review on a positive note, so I'll begin with the negative things about this headset. Negatives: 1. I am getting nowhere near the claimed 30 hours of battery life on Blue Tooth. Perhaps it would be better using the 2.4 Ghz mode, I haven't tested it that way. I am lucky to get 8 hours of battery life. I left my headset on when I went to bed at 10:30 last night. Nine hours later, the headset was dead. 2. Volume. The volume of the headset is not as good as other headsets I've used; however, it isn't bad. The sound quality is mediocre for the price. 3. The "invisible volume controls seem quirky and more trouble to use than an actual button on the headset. 4. The price is a little too high for what you are getting, even though it does connect three different ways. The positive: 1. Comfort. I realize comfort is subjective. Having acknowledged that, I find this headset comfortable even after hours of playing World of Warcraft. 2. Aesthetics. Another subjective opinion. I find this headset to be very pleasing to the eye. 3. It can be connected every way you can connect a headset. I am overall pleased with this purchase. The Lunar Light color goes well, a perfect match, with the Lunar Light X series Alienware gaming devices. If It gave just a little better sound quality and lived up to the claimed 30 hours of battery life while connected by Bluetooth, I would have given it 5 stars. In spite of the negative qualities, it has enough positive aspects for me to call it a keeper. I recommend catching it on sale at Best Buy, or the Alienware website.

Very well headset when it works. Every so often it stops working and i have to reset everything. Let me make it clear that is not often like weekly. Maybe once a month or every 2 months it starts acting up. Other than that is a great proud with amazing sound.

Headset is good. The default sound is okay but i use it with steel series sonar for the eq customization and it makes it a lot better. The only issues i have with it is theres a thing sticking out inside the earcups that ru s against my ear and it starts to get sore after a while. And the touch controls are not very good.

Great Headset - Poorly Attached Ear Muffs 3rd Pair

This headset has been my absolute favorite after trying all different brands and types. The main Con I have is I'm on my second pair, shortly to replace with my third pair because the ear muffs are poorly attached to the banding. This is the second pair now that it's either entirely separated from the banding or is having sound issues like scratching or white noise. Besides this issue, the headset sound is amazing, the noise cancellation is better than most and I would recommend getting the headset. Just make sure to purchase the Accidental Protection because they are very easily broken.

I bought these just for gaming, and they do a great job at that. They have a really BIG sound to them. They are definitely EQ'd to be bass heavy which emphasized action in game. Due to the EQ I wouldn't really enjoy listening to music through them though. But they are gaming headphones, and that what I bought them for. If they were used for music, I'd probably give it 3 stars. I took off one star for quality of build/Value. I wish the components were metal, not somewhat cheap plastic

The sound is decent and looking the RGB. I always wanted to have a Alienware headset and this one does not disappoint. The downside you gotta do use the audio program to actually fix the default. I'd say if you like the metal feel and a good surround. Get this headset, but try and get it on sale.

Not as loud as i wanted them to be but along with the noise cancelation sound is good. Controls are a little clunky and take some getting used to. I like that the microphone comes off and breaks down into smaller unit. Paid $120 for them.
