The Alienware - Elite USB Optical Gaming Mouse - Black/silver... Where to begin? There are very few products out there that can compare to this mouse! Having used literally hundreds of different mouse pointers in my lifetime, both wired and wireless, none have come close to comparing to this one! The 12000 DPI responsiveness is so impressive that I had to turn down the speed of the mouse because I am so used to "forcing" the mouse to go where I want it that I was overshooting my desired items constantly... Never realized how hard we worked using a mouse!?! The look and design are stellar. The feel and ergonomics are perfect for my hand. This thing is completely customizable to the extreme from physical form to lighting. PROS - Incredible responsiveness will little effort - Totally customizable - Amazing look and feel - The Alienware software make customize the mouse a breeze - Completely plug and play if you wish - Long braided cord doesn't get bunched up while playing intense games, but long enough to sit a distance if you choose - Basically everything about it! CONS - Nothing that I can find yet! I totally love this mouse and experience. It is truly the King of Beasts!

Got this mouse in-store after seeing it open-box on sale. It's worth the money, even full price, especially if you have an Alien set-up. It's got a killer LED system, with great external mouse attachments (included) to ensure a great feel for browsing, working, and gaming alike. I use it every day and have had no issues or any type of lag with the wired in approach. Don't mistake this to be wireless though (even though it clearly says it's not). The quick DPI setting toggle on mouse is positioned great to not accidentally hit it or for it to randomly go nuts on ya'. The built in LED changing system with Alien software is also an amazing touch but it's great nonetheless even if you don't have an Alien PC. Well worth the money considering what this product offers and many others for more money.

Not palmed a better feeling mouse! Both shape and texture. And it’s ultra sensitive/responsive for speed, just like I like it. I would buy this repeatedly as a gift, for tech friends especially.

I agree with the positive reviews of this mouse that it has fantastic build quality and works very well. I like the fact that you can customize the side panels of the mouse as well as the weight. However, it has a major flaw for me. I am someone who tends to pick up my mouse quite a bit during regular use (mostly to reposition the mouse once I get to the edge of a screen, say in a game). This mouse has very smooth sides which makes it slippery in my hands and difficult to pick up. Also, since the left side panel contains 2 or 6 buttons, I tend to hit those buttons inadvertently. This would be less of an issue if the buttons could be configured as blank or empty, but they cannot (as of the latest software release). I find myself constantly hitting buttons on the left side panel with my thumb as I am picking up the mouse and placing it back down. Otherwise, it is a great mouse and if you don't pick up your mouse like I tend to do, you will love it.

Absolutely love this mouse. It can be extended for large hands, and also has optional weights. I love that the lights are programmable.

I must be honest, I purchased this to go along with my Alienware branded computer. I didn't find it too expensive, but it certainly wasn't cheap. I'm a casual gamer so all of the DPI specs can be lost on me. This works great, is very responsive, long cable, I have absolutely no complaints. Could you get away with a cheaper gaming mouse? Probably, but if you want to stick to the style of your Alienware computer this is the one to get.

This is the best gaming mouse for all gamers and the lights make a great effect.

Use on my Alienware 17R. The mouse is good meaning it points at the right spot just don't take all the time to program the countless buttons, because once you disconnect from PC or laptop all the buttons need to be programmed all over again. Battery backup or Bluetooth would have made this a 5 star review.

I'd love to give you a Pro/Con list for this mouse, but honestly, I can't think of a single con. Alienware has a fully configurable app so you can map everything out really easy, and switch up your sensitivity profiles. Switching between the different profiles is both intuitive and easy as well with just the little bump of the toggle. I love how configurable the weight and side panels are, I've never owner a more comfortable mouse after playing around a little.\ Also, it looks just sick nasty sitting there. One CON: All your other peripherals will suffer from feelings of inadequacy after you get this.
