If you are reading this review and are wondering if this is a good system for the money it is one of the best. First I researched a ton of systems from the CYBER POWER, CORSAIR(NICE SYSTEM), MAIN GEAR(SUPER EXPENSIVE) and all the models in between. When it came right down to I wanted good components, name brand hardware, tech support and potential resale value down the road. The system is a beast and everything is easy to adjust with the Alienware FX control. Granted you will need MSI afterburner or another program to control the graphics card fans or to overclock the graphics card if you want. The system however easily overclockable, liquid cooled and is very quiet. If you add up all the items you get in the system it is actually a hair cheaper than trying to build it yourself. ALso note they have a ton of USB ports front and rear for eevrything unlike a lot of systems you are never out of ports. Now what you need to really know is the keyboard and mouse are just generic junk nothing special, invest in the Corsair K95 or the ALIENWARE gaming keyboard for something good. You will also want to get a 144hz or 240hz gaming monitor for the system I got the Predator monitor and it is great, but only 1080P (240hz) Overall this system screams on all games in 1080P and in 2K at all EPIC settings you will slow down in 4k if you aare playing in EPIC, but who is doing that anyways since all the 240hz monitors are in 1080P for gaming. There is plently of space for add ons in the unit and I installed the CORSAIR Vengenace 2666mhz RAM in place of the factory RAM simple plug and play nothing special needed at all....so I am not sure about all the people that say the RAM is such an issue no issues for me at all. I think there are just a lot of ALIENWARE haters due to the brand, but they put together a solid well designed system and down the road it is easily sellable verse buying a generic unit that no one knows and is just a paperweight. The only drawback is I wish they would have some inner RGB lights or maybe clear spot on the case to show off the liquid cooling etc...and they should update the Alienware FX it is super easy, but you are limited to only about 20 ish colors not the full spectrum to change the RGBS, but the overclocking is a click of a button to do all preset up in FX to use. Overall this unit is a 9.9 out of 10 and the only other unit I would say is close to comparable, but even more money is the Corsair Vengeance 5180, but bang for the buck is here and if you watch it, the unit has gone down to 1800 which is an insane price for what you get. Note the overclocked I7 is just as good as the new I9 read the stats and reviews do not waster money getting that as there is no benefit to the I9 over the I7.
