I quickly purchased this computer as part oculus bundle bestbuy had for sale. As I needed a computer I figured I couldn't go wrong with this,after making my purchase I started to do more research into the computer (I already knew the specs but not so much on the ability to upgrade). After doing some digging I saw this computer was limited to the power supply it had by 330 watts which is not a lot by todays standards. I saw that you could upgrade the graphics card with the added graphics amplifier that alienware sells but then you would have a big box sitting next to your computer. I used the computer for a few days and it worked great for VR games,but when I wanted to play more demanding titles this unit could only handle the lower settings due to the CPU and GPU. After much thinking I returned this computer and got an Area 51,which offers room to upgrade along with a beefy power supply to add up to 2 more GPU's. Overall if you plan on just using this for VR games and non demanding title games or just getting into computer games, this computer would do great,but if your like me and want to max out the games settings and then you will want to look elsewhere.

Great system! Built to perform and quite compact. System does seem to heat up quickly, but can be resolved with proper ventilation.

Very fast and with the GeForce 970 this thing handles the latest games with ease. Runs quiet and does not get too hot - you can check this with the Alien Control Panel which is helpful. Only negative was the description said it had a DVD optical drive but it came without one. Not a deal breaker as i added an external Blueray and all is good.

Great gaming rig: slim-line chassis without sacrificing powerful graphics (GTX 970 onboard), multiple USB 3.0 ports (6x 3.0, 2x 2.0 ports), nifty Alienware software for overclocking, and changing the LED light patterns on the case. If this PC has one drawback, it's that it uses a traditional HDD instead of SSD, which is faster. There is a version of this model that ships with SSD, and sometimes I wish I got that instead when I'm starting the PC up from shutdown state. Otherwise, very satisfied with the purchase.

I originally bought it to have fun with my cousin, who is physically disabled. He played for maybe 30 minutes and found it a little bit difficult to operate. This computer is pretty powerful, without a doubt and the games were pretty cool, so many educational ones and take you anywhere and everywhere in this universe. I definitely recommend

Great for gaming as well as for 'normal' use, and it is very difficult to keep the grandkids away from playing their games and they LOVE it. Speed and graphics are fabulous and the compact size was a plus that I didn't even expect.

paid all this money and have had it in the "shop" 2xs and he still says it doesn't have enough "power" for gaming and that is it's sole purpose.

I purchased this PC as a bundle with my Oculus Rift and don't regret it - it's been great so far. The custom lighting effects are cool and can be customized via the start menu task bar. The PC comes with a keyboard and mouse as expected but most users who have this may want to purchase a separate wireless keyboard/mouse combo for living room or VR room setups. My biggest reason for purchasing this was the size - it's about the size of an Xbox One and it's perfect for our furniture setup and would be easy to travel with if transporting for any VR demos.

Bought this as part of an Oculus Rift bundle. Easy setup and performs flawlessly for VR as well as anything else I've used it for.

So I ordered this desktop as part of the oculus rift package. Received both yesterday, everything was all good and well with the rift, but come to find out the desktop I received, while the right model, did not have some of the specs advertised, specifically the video card wasn't even close, the processing speed didn't match, and no disk drive. The desktop is essentially useless as it wasn't able to run the rift, now I'm playing the waiting game as Best buy is currently shipping me a new one as they stated the one I got was a freak occurrence and is a lemon. We shall see!
