I bought it as part of an Amana packaged deal from Best Buy which also included a refrigerator and electric range. Like the other appliances in the package, the range not only looks great, but is also highly functional and efficient. As I wrote in my previous review of the refrigerator, I got a great deal at Best Buy and I highly recommend this product.

Amana - 24" Built-In Dishwasher

It is attractive in appearance and after several wash cycles it seems to be cleaning the dishes quite well. Only time will tell if this holds true. I did the change out myself and it was a simple job that took about one hour. So far so good!

Posted .Current dishwasher heating cycles have been cut short due to standards set by the Department of Energy. To overcome this, we recommend using rinse aid to help sheet off extra water. First, fill the compartment with rinse aid until full. Next, turn the dial under the rinse aid cap from 2 (the factory preset) to 5 or 6. This will allow the rinse aid to cover the dishes and form to the inside cabinet. Turn it back down after a few loads, and you will notice a big difference the amount of water in the unit and on the dishes.
