I’ve had this refrigerator for about a year now. Within 2-3 months, the fridge was not getting cold enough. When I contacted Best Buy about it, they initially told me to unplug the fridge and let it do a hard restart. I unplugged it for 24hrs, saving the food that I could :( it did not work..weeks later they told me to contact Amana (Whirlpool). Well Whirlpool was completely unsupportive and eventually sent a repairman to my house. The repairman never came! When I contacted them about that, they apologized and said they’d get back to me, they never did. Since then, I constantly just put bowls of ice cubes in the refrigerator to keep it as cold as possible. It is set to the coldest setting and the freezer is below freezing, the fridge side is a whole different story. I can keep it between 40-50 degrees with putting new bowls of ice cubes in it everyday. So disappointed. I bought the Amana package, so I still owe $400, and one the biggest appliance isn’t even efficient. Long story short, the freezer side is efficient, the fridge side is not.

Bougth this stainles steel refrigerator on May, 26, 2021 and have a lot of rust.

Purchased this in white on March 14 2020. The geek squad did the installation but failed to mention that there were signs of a rework on the back panel. I found out later. I thought it was noisy but they said it was normal. Two days after installation I wanted to return it. By then then the pandemic response threw everything out of sync. I would have had to return it myself (I'm 85 year sold and accustomed to be taken advantage of) Subsequently called the MFG and found out that it was a last years model which ordinarily wouldn't have mattered. They sent a man from Appliance Repair to look at it and it was pronounced "normal" . Hums, groans throbs and ringing is not normal. I gave up and bought acoustic foam and Mass loaded vinyl to cut the noise. It is somewhat reduced but still annoying. Like living in a machine shop.

Amana? Should be called Anotha, as in buy anotha brand! Sorry I’m being real, this isn’t a incentive review… This only lasted two years so make sure you get that extended warranty! It looked great displayed in store and definitely looked great out the box but beware.. that stainless steel finish won’t look pretty for long. The doors started showing rust spots about three months into ownership. Yes I clean the doors with stainless steel appliance cleaner and clean with the grain. Are we a destructive family? No, it’s me and my elderly father.. so we don’t trash appliances. I clean this thing regularly inside and out, You’ll have to use a compressor to blow out dust on the cooling coils since you can only reach the front and back of them via lower and rear panel, even with a brush. Oh well. Then the freezer decides to suddenly develop stress cracks, how? Then the compressor goes out, then the condenser… Parts were replaced by third party GS insurance but still no cooling. Yay, over two months waiting for groceries! No luck… GS finally decided to give me store credit for the value. I decided not to go with a replacement unit.. thanks to Gil Avila over at GS claims that helped me out with that!

I bought this from BB in August 2019. It looks nice and I like the ice maker. The stainless steel cleans easily, which is sometimes an issue with my other appliances. It was originally freezing my food in the fridge, but I was able to easily just turn down the setting and it's fine. I gave it 3 stars because it somehow doesn't seem to have a lot of interior space in the fridge, and the refrigerator side door bins, and the vegetable crisper drawers are incredibly flimsy. I swear that I am not hard on these items at all, but the crisper drawer cracked almost immediately after purchase, and 2 fridge bins broke yesterday - one from the slots where they attach to the door, the other from the bin bottom! And they are ridiculously expensive to replace. This is a nice fridge and should have much better, sturdier, interior components. Disappointed given the cost.

Old refrigerator died right before Thanksgiving so needed quick replacement and this is what we could get fastest to fit space. We gave it two stars because at least it works fine at cooling and freezing. The shelves do not contain spills and have limited adjustments, the shelves on the door seem to be a little on the flimsy side and it doesn't come with deli drawer. As for the freezer, the ice machine seems to take up more room than the old refrigerator and the ice and water dispenser are not side by side, the ice paddle is right behind water paddle so when you get ice you also hit water which runs down side of cup and on floor. I guess it saved room, but bad design. this refrigerator will be replaced soon and used as a secondary basement fridg.

This is probably one of the worst refrigerators we had ever had. When we bought this we were desperate. Our fridge went out and we tried buying a used one which also went out! This fridge was our third or fourth choice. Our first choices were on back order, so here we are. First of all this fridges design is just off. It's way too small for our family. And what does fit just fits odd. The temperature seems to be off as well. Our milk was freezing when put in the back or on the top shelf towards the back. Then when we tried to adjust the temp controls it ended up making the fridge too warm. So now the milk just goes toward the front. the freezer is also a bit odd. Like one shelf is so small that I don't even know what it was made for. We just put tin ice packs there. If you stack items on the freezer shelf they just end up sliding out when you open the door. We actually considered just getting rid of this piece of garbage and get another one. Please don't waste your time or money on this horrible appliance!

We just picked this up from the store and after the hassle I had, i really hope it's worth it. I loved the look of this fridge in store. It supposedly rates up there with the more expensive whirlpool brand with the same look. Im already upset tho due to 1st our local store in MS said when they went to order it in store for me that their warehouse has been out for a while now with no idea when it'd be back. But there was "good news", they could order it right there to be picked up in the Mobile, AL store. After going through all the prompts and choices right before paying, the system switched my price and bumped it up because AL has a much higher tax rate than MS. I wasnt enthused about this but ok. Day comes to drive all that way to pick this up. We get there, they wheel it out and get it on the trailer, and ITS THE WRONG COLOR. It's not the stainless steel I ordered. Its black. No way to fix this besides sending it back, ordering another, hoping its correct next time, and waiting another 6 or so days to once again drive the distance to pick it up. I took home the black one.... Again, I'm hoping it's worth this hassle. I wish I could get a discount at this point for all this tho.

A big space it seems like if a drawer or shelf is missing. The water sprout is at the outside edge of the tray and water drips after filling the glass and besides that a thing drop of water comes out. I reallyyyy don’t like this refrigerator

This fridge looks good in my kitchen. To me it doesn't have alot of space in it. The freezer compartment also not much space. The main thing that gives this fridge a thumbs down is the water compartment leak drops of water that runs down the door causing water streak and stain.

Works as intended, minus the fact that you CANNOT lock the wheels. Other folks have asked this question (check the Q&As). You will have to buy a door stopper to keep it from moving each time you open the doors.

The fingerprints and handprints on the stainless steel are terrible.  You can not keep it clean.  It works fine but looks filthy all the time.  Not sure what I can use to help.  I have tried a couple of products but they actually left streaks and looked worse.

This fridge was nice at first. After 8 months it started to have cooling issues . The the third party that came to fix the refrigerator would come and fix it and then it would not work the next day till this very day I'm still waiting for a response to see the cooling of the data of my refrigerator it's a nice refrigerator however if it would work it would be even better I've had issues with it 8 months in which is pretty sad cuz it wasn't cheap

It does the job! If your budget is limited this might be perfect, however, it doesn't look like good quality at all! The handles come off and the set up of our fridge was terrible. It might have been just ours, but I would not recommend it.

At first glance, yes the fridge is nice. But as we got closer to the actual fridge we saw that fingerprints stained it CRAZY easy and that well, it’s kind of cheap. I had high hopes for this fridge but you can tell in the quality that it should be priced cheaper than it is. I ended up swapping it for a Samsung fridge that was $100 more BUT was so much better. Also the guys who delivered it weren’t the best attitude-wise so all around, I wouldn’t recommend. Spend those extra $100 for a way nicer fridge.

Nice fridge but the ice maker is a joke. It is literally one ice tray that fills up and dumps maybe 3 trays a day

It looks really cheap and if you touch the stainless steel cover, leaves finger prints a lot. It looks like it’s scratched but when wipe it off, scratch marks go away

I didn't actually use the refrigerator because Geek Squad didn't install it and it was returned to the store. It did seem like a nice refrigerator and it was visually appealing.

Worked fine for two years then started frosting every week. Replaced control board and defrost system for hundreds of dollars. Dont waste time with this unit.

Its a fridge. We purchased purchased this one because it was the onlybone that wouldn't take 4 weeks or more to get to us. We need one asap. The ice maker is already having issues
