Horrible TV

Amazon wants to venture into the TV market while integrating their Alexa program into the device. However, half the time "Alexa" doesn't respond or the remote reverts to basic mode and half the keys don't work until you go into settings and reconnect the remote. It has a decent display but if you want to be able to consistently use the Alexa feature you can forget it -- it hardly works.

The TV would also pause or not allow me to stream at times. I ended up returning the TV.

Don’t purchase if you watch DIRECTV app

I mainly stream the DIRECTV app, and it is unwatchable due to glitching and lagging. I cleared the app’s data and cache, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and it remains unwatchable. There are no such problems with other apps. Interestingly, if I insert a Firestick, there is no glitching and lagging with the Firestick’s DIRECTV app. This suggests there’s a software problem with the Fire TV.

BEWARE NO WARRANTY!

Amazon will not warranty unless you buy from Amazon. Best buy ripoff on garbage product. Will never shop with them again. Tv didnt make it a month. Now im out 600 bucks.

New TV

I purchased it because of Alexa and I have a 73 year old mom at my house and wanted something easier for her to use. She loves it and the 65 inch monitor is gorgeous. Only gripe which is nothing is TV loses all its luster when the internet goes down but other than that awesome.

It is not awful, but it lacks the definition and crispness of the two previously mentioned brands. I returned the 55" i bought for $499 and replaced it with an LG of the same size with a far superior picture quality, for $429.
