needs more knowledge to understand questions better

This is a Christmas gift for my wife so hasn't been opened yet!

I though the sound quality was just average like my echo dot.

Out of the box the unit did not accurately understand voice commands. Amazon sent a replacement and replacement was more defective than the one I had purchased. After four hours with tech support, the agent hung up leaving me two non working echoes, (because he un-registered both of them causing them not to work at all), and now my echo dots were not functioning properly and the agent just ended the phone call. I spent the next two hours calling Amazon a total of three times getting the app, echo dots to work with the promise of sending out a second replacement. Six hours of total frustration and still no working echo device. Waiting to see how the second replacement works and then I will update this review.

Bought this device in June to control my Lifx lights at my home and early January the speaker itself stopped working. The device still listens to commands but cannot make any noise. It worked great prior, just disappointed in the quality.

it has to be connected to the electricity all the time. I have a different generation and I only charge the speakers a few hours to use it outside with out connecting to the electricity great battery life

Product malfunctions sometimes. It acts like it wants to work, but sometimes it blinks off and on. Would return it, but Best Buy said the 14 day window has closed. Bummer !!

App is poorly written. Not user friendly. Keeps every word you speak to the device unless you explicitly delete the conversation. Wrong at every level.

Great have music in the whole house great with SiriusXM a must have

An echo dot is just as useful for me and takes up less space

My Alexa and my dot have problems connecting and also recognizing my voice when I have time and time again made a voice profile . I don’t understand why both of my devises are acting this way !!!!!

Garbage, I I can speak as clearly as possible and doesn’t pick up what I am saying. Plays music that is not even close to what I wanted

Could not set up product using the alexa app. Appears that the bluetooth connection was faulty. Had to return the device.

I am going to return this one because it does not respond after quarantine

I did not verify the price in amazon prime before purchasing this product from bestbuy

Don't like it. I find it obtrusive and sometimes doesn't do as we ask.
