Great device, works just like described. Easy to set up, easy to use. Looking forward to adding smart home devices to our house to allow the Echo to control them.

The amazon echo dot is really cool, it’s actually more helpful than I thought

The Echo Dot is a great product, be sure to get more than one so that you can "pair" them up. When they are paired you can use them as an intercom system or a baby monitor. It will also help you keep lists, find and order specials on Amazon and tell you the weather.

Easy to set up. Only complaint I have is I wish it could be disconnected and taken to another room and charged when needed. Overall, great sound and easy to use.

I started out with this echo Dot, but it wasn't working well with my Harmony hub which controlled everything in my home entertainment center, so I switched to a Google home mini which worked great for awhile. As of late Google has had so many serious issues with their home, and home mini cloud making it virtually unusable, so I switched back. Happy to say that my echo is working perfectly with everything I need, from my lights, to my entertainment center, to my schedule, to my shopping list. Everything a GOOD virtual assistant should do.

I have the echo and wanted to add to it. This slimmer version of the echo is fantastic. Takes up no space, sound is good and does almost everything so fat that my echo does.

Great device for streaming my music anywhere in the house. Very affordable.

Works the way a smart home device should. Connects to multiple wifi plugs, lets me control them with ease. The games on it are fun. And its surprisingly loud too!

We love our Echo and discovering the different things it can do. I especially like that it's fully functional on it's own without it's more expensive siblings. The smart plugs add some super cool options and I'm looking forward to getting the dot for each bedroom.

We received an Echo Dot for Christmas 2016 and bought one for a gift for someone else this year. We love this product! Want to play a specific song with a simple voice command? Done. Want to turn off your porch light without walking across the house? Done. (Must have smart bulbs). Want to ask the weather, news or Bible verse of the day? You can with a simple question. This product is fun to use and honestly kind of blows our minds. Lol. Highly recommended, especially if you have a smart phone and use a lot of applications. Echo Dot can work with many of them. We may even buy a second one!

I love Alexa! I would definitely recommend having at least one of these in your household. Especially if you have kids, and especially if they’re at that age of famous “whys?” How many times a day do you wonder something in question?? It’s more than you think, LOL! My husband bought one for us and I never realized how many questions float around in my brain until we got the echo dot. I highly recommend having an “Alexa” of some kind in your home. I also recommend purchasing the “gamers club” if you buy a lot of video games because it has already saved us over $50 on only two games!

Love this for ease in creating shopping and to-do lists. Can access from almost anywhere in my small 2 story condo. Well worth the price. Only downside is it is hit or miss with google-type questions. Looking forward to more upgrades, as each one adds value.

The new echo dot is amazing, you can control many items in the house, for example now i'm able to control my Sonos speakers and my nest thermostat. setup is easy.
