Purchase this tablet for my 2 year old granddaughter for Christmas as she loves to use my iPad 2. The tablet has great features but she couldn't understand how to use it and would get frustrated with it since it didn't operate like she was use to. Returned it for a full refund and bought her a different childs tablet for younger children she really likes. Will look at buying this one again maybe when she is 4 or 5 years old.

Needs to be easier to move downloaded apps to my daughters side of the kindle. Plus more younger kid friendly apps, I.e two year olds. Love the battery life and the durability of the case. My daughter loves being able to flip through the various apps or books she's recently played with or with her camera. Haven't played much with the memory or the ability to watch movies through the memory card but looking forward to it.

This is a great little tablet for any parent looking for a tablet for their kids that has great parental controls, time limits, goals.. its awesome. You can install just about any app on it as well as learning friendly apps and books. It has the power to run most apps as well so thats not too shabby either. The reason I give 4 stars and not 5, is no SD card slot.

my 2 year old son really loves this tablet. It has fallen a few times but nothing has happened to it. The only bad thing is the storage space. Wish it had more cause my son loves to download videos and it only gets around 4 or 5.

I purchased 2 tablets one for each grandchild. 4 year old boy 6 year old girl. tablets were very easy to set up. Initially had issue with camera not showing up in kids profile but all that was needed was a software upgrade. Showed the kids how to use and they have figured out a lot of extras by themselves. Product so far has been great and both kids love them and use them everyday. Great warranty 2 years plus one year of amazon prime. Also bought for a great price at Best Buy a few weeks before Christmas.

We purchased this for two of our grand babies, ages 1 1/2 and 2 1/2. It is a perfect size for them. The graphics are great and there are lots of choices. I had bought my oldest grandson another child's tablet 2 years in a row and he didn't play with them and the games had to be purchased separately, adding additional expense. He even likes this one! If your looking for something so you can have your Ipad back... Like me.. This is a perfect choice! And it is a great learning tool!

I purchased the Amazon fire HD for my 6 yr old. She loves it and so do I. Not only will she get enjoyment out of using it now, but this tablet will grow with her for many years to come. It serves two purposes. One, she is getting accustom to using a real tablet and secondly It serves as a teacher outside the classroom. Love it!

We purchased this tablet for our son as an early 2nd birthday present. It took him no time at all to learn how to use it and find his favorite things to do on it. It's the exact same tablet our older kids also have, but this one came with a 2 year warranty and 1 year of free time for young kids as well as a protective cover. Our son has dropped this tablet several times and I haven't had to worry about it breaking. We would definitely buy again.

The KidsFreetime concept is good but the execution is poor and takes up too much space that interferes with app install. Need to let parents decide what App's kids can have in Freetime. Like the price with the 2 year warranty.

This is a great product and i love that it comes with a year of free time for the kids. Amazon will also replace the product no questions asked if something happens to it which is impressive. I will only say that the memory is not much and therefore sometimes you have to delete apps.

The kindlefire for kids with aqua case is an asset worth adding because it protects the screen from ocassional falls! The settings are easy to modify and parent friendly. It was a good Christmas purchase. I am looking forward to downloading more books and less games for my son to enjoy.

My daughter and niece love their their tablets, the only reason I did not give a 5 was the memory. I have to delete items when too many things are downloaded. There are no options when buying the Kid's edition.

My son loves his little blue tablet. He is able to read, play games and watch movies anywhere in the house he desires. It's a win win for everyone especially when u need some alone time. Overall it is a great product and I would recommend the kindle fire to friends and family

We recently purchased this product for our granddaughter who just turned 3. She loves it. Once her dad got it programmed for abcmouse, she figured out the rest on her own. She's been a cell phone user since she was a little over two with some assistance from her mom. This one came with the shock absorbing case, and I would definitely recommend you get one if it does not come with the product.

They've done a great job of producing a fairly good quality product on such a low budget. I only have two complaints. 1. A memory slot would have been awesome considering how little memory this unit has, and it should have been capable to put one in without to much of a price hike. 2. This is the big one, and the real reason for 3 stars. When the feeble memory gets full, and it will, the programmed solution isn't to stop downloading apps. The solution they came up with was to turn off the WIFI. This requires that the parent then sort through, and delete things until the memory issue is resolved before reconnecting to the WIFI. Not my idea of an optimal solution, by any stretch. Hopefully they patch a better solution to the memory issues.
