My son bought his first tablet with his own money and he loves it. Mom loves it to because she can control his use.

My 3year old grandson loves his tablet he plays the educational games and watches videos and draws and paints and it's easy for him to use and keeps him busy,so yes it was a good investment,

Bought this item for our 5year old. Primary reason we got this is the parental controls of the apps, videos and books. Daughter loves it and forces her to manage the time she spends on certain functions. Easy to operate but 8GB of memory isn't much to work with.

Held up well till young one was ready or at least wantying mor epower and features parental contriols handy & we put a good case on it

I bought this tablet for my daughter. its not as sophisticated as any of my iPads, but handles the heavy duty activities and needs of a young child. content, as presently included inside AMZN's guaranteed period, is appropriate and presents well on this relatively small to average-sized screen. for the price its an okay purchase. parental and other settings use is fine. battery life is okay. tablet is very light, but feels kinda-cheap compared to say an AAPL device. comparable to some Samsung models. summary: your child will love it, you may feel underwhelmed.

I got this as a Christmas present for my 6yr old daughter. She loves it! It's very easy to use, she has no problem playing alone with it. And it's so durable compared to the previous tablet so had. Would definitely recommend for any child.

My kids love their tablets and it was quite easy to set up. Wish it had external memory or more gb that's why I gave it 4 stars. Can't beat the warranty

this is by far the best tablet for a child it is super easy to use and with all the games it has in it i have nothing to worry about both my boys age 1 and 2 love it n can spend hours playing with it and its super easy for them to use

Grandsons love their Kindle Fire. They enjoy reading & playing games. According to parents they now have to limit the time spent with the Kindle.

My tween(10) daughter can't put this down! She enjoys being able to download her own books, games and movies, as well as playing with photo editing. I don't have to worry a out when it gets dropped, and I can have my own account.

My son loved this gift for Christmas. My only complaint is that it should have more gigs on it. 8 is not enough! Overall it is a good product.

This is very user friendly for any child. I bought thus for my 3.year grandson and he o bed playing the games on there and he finds it very easy to maneuver. I would highly recommend this for any young child.

Despite the very limited hard memory on this tablet it does have potential. The best part is the 2 year warranty for peace of mind if it breaks for nearly any reason. And don't forget the one year of kindle free time.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO EVERYONE THAT HAS SMALL CHILDREN, MY GRANSON NEVER PUTS IT DOWN, EVEN TAKES IT WITH HIM AT BED TIME TO WATCH MOVIES.

Great item for my son. I have complete control over everything. I only wished I would have gotten one with more memory.

I have a 2year pld who loves this and its easy tp find age appropriate apps fpr him to learn on and add parental controls over everythig he does evem how much time he can use it a day

My always played with my kindle and now that he has his own blue kindle he's completely happy. Especially having a full year of Amazon FreeTime he has tons of games and videos to enjoy

My 2 year old loves her kindle and uses it without help. My older kids love it too, especially the freetime.

My 3 year old loves his Fire kids tablet and learned how to navigate it quickly. The battery life is great, but the wifi shuts off when the battery started running low. I wish it had expandable memory because the memory can run out fast. That being said, I'm buying the Fire HD7s for my 4 and 6 year olds.
