My “Smart TV” is a little older and the iOS was getting really slow and the apps took a long time to load and streaming wasn’t always stable. With the Fire TV 4k Max stick I no longer think I need to replace my tv. Great product. Setup is breeze too but it does require an update out of the box so prepare that.

Setup is fairly easy. The device is responsive and pretty quick during use. I fixed up a couple older flat screen TVs and now they work as well as my newer smart TVs. Very satisified.

Can connect directly to your Amazon account with your email and if there’s a saved profile it’ll import that profile, like an iCloud backup to a new phone. We use ours on an old 1080P tv so it’s really nice to not have to upgrade the tv for getting streaming.

I found that the Fire Stick was easier to use, although both devices have a few too many steps and receives programs faster. If you buy this you need to buy the lighted remote if you plan on watching tv at noght.

I purchased the Fire Stick (one time cost), got a mobile router (UNLIMITED INTERNET for my RV) from T-Mobile for $50 a month. The picture is great, my computer speed is great I LOVE IT!!! Beats the heck out of Xfinity's cost and mobile limitations.
