Works great, mouse pad is awesome on it. Keys are good so far (about 2 months). Really light and holds a charge for a while. I use it moderately so keep that in mind if you worry about battery life as it needs charging. At least it takes the same charger as the kindle it's made for! Works great with the case too!

Despite being intended for the HDX 8.9, I actually purchased this for my Kindle Fire HD 7. It works really well. Most keyboard cases might be more convenient, as there's really no place to put the keyboard, but the built in mouse sealed the deal for me. The keyboard is really light weight, the keys are easy to type on. The only downside, I've run into, is hitting the shift key twice turns on the caps lock (tho there might be a way to turn that off). Which is only a minor annoyance. Also, it seems like it won't turn on regularly. I usually have to plug the charger in for it to "wake up." I thnk it might be due to the device being meant to be tucked into the HDX's magnetic case. Not sure. Despite that, it's a really solid keyboard.

It took a while to get to understand this keyboard, such as whether it was 'on' or 'off' and locating certain keys. The regular price is too high for the small aggravations but I got a sale price so find it worth it. Lightweight. I carry it separate from my Kindle because my Gen Kindle doesn't do the origami case, but I prefer it that way and just zip it into a small case with my Kindle (which has a cover) for travel.

The tablet is still my go to onthego solution for productivity. It's just handier than a laptop, and with this keyboard, doubly so. Syncs up right out the box, same size as the 8.9 HDX, thin and slips into the same bag, no need to carry extra bags.

Got it just to use with my Samsung Tab S2, but then found that it works great with my amazon fire stick and Chrome sticks, plus almost every other device i have. great little all in one keyboard/mouse.

This key board is very user friendly. The keys have a great feel so you don't feel like your having to press down firmly to get the key stroke. The touch cursor is a great addition to wireless key pads as well.

The Fire Wireless Keyboard is the PERFECT companion to my new Fire HDX 8.9 tablet. It installed and connected almost immediately and has made typing emails a breeze. Compared to my first gen Kindle Fire 8.9, which I used with a non-proprietary Bluetooth keyboard, the Fire Wireless Keyboard's user experience is leaps and bounds superior in every way. This was definitely a "no-brainer" purchase for me.

A nice addition to go along with my fire makes it a whole lot easier to type up long paragraphs or posts

The keyboard functions very well even though it is not full sized. The keys have no separation so if you're used to widely spaced keys, you might have trouble with this one. If that doesn't bother you then you'll have a great time with this keyboard. I honestly don't type that much on any of my tablets but I like to have a keyboard available when I do. This one is one of the better keyboards for a tablet. I would buy it again.

I bought this for my son and he loved it, very easy to connect through bluetooth, the only problem now is that my mother keeps using it so I need to get her one.
