This is a good product. My only issue with it is that the Kindles do not seem to last very long. I have already gone through several.

There are pros and cons to the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7. I like it has a micro hdmi out port. Screen and stereo speakers are nice. Great that it has a webcam and microphone to use on Skype. Don't like the advertisements unless you pay extra to remove them. The biggest weakness is the limited Amazon App Store. You will miss the Google Play Store at one point or another. Overall it is good, but note the limitations.

I was happy that we bought the kindle for my granddaughter

I got this for my daughter mainly for reading. When I set it up, I was overjoyed to see that I can set up time limits for how long she was able to play apps and games each day. I was also able to set up hours of the day that she can use it. I set it up so that she can't play before 8:00 a.m. or after 8:00 p.m. The best part of Kindle Freetime, in my opinion, is that in those settings, as long as it's within 8:00-8:00, I can have it set for unlimited reading time. I love that I can limit games without hindering her love for reading. We still have many, many regular books, but this is great for when we are traveling or just to get a book at any time without leaving the house. Not to mention all of the amazing free books that Amazon has available!

I bought this Kindle a couple of years ago and I really enjoyed it. This last Christmas my husband bought me the Kindle 10' and I love it too. The picture quality is awesome.

Got this for my grandparents and they absolutely love it! They say it is very easy to use and is fun! They love watching tv on it and checking email. Also they love reading and say it's really easy and clear.

This has updated operating system and new features, a redesigned shell (with the power and volume control buttons more readily accessible) and the power adapter included rather than as a separate $19.99 accessory. And all of this at a great price.

My kids love it for reading and gaming and its less expensive than an iPad.

This Kindle Fire HD 7 tablet is fantastic! The 16GB has plenty of storage needed for a 8 year old! Very durable!

I bought this for my deployment as a need for reading books. Came with great screen resolution, great processor speed and apps! Loving it!

I like my Kindle so much I bought another one exactly like it for my husband, the over the road truck driver !!!!! He's all over the U.S. so sometimes its hard to find wifi, but he has alot of books alreadu downloaded.

Great for watching Netflix and reading books on amazon. Some limited options for it though. Good for the price.
