    After her Nintendo ds broke, my daughter asked for a new one for Christmas. I got her this Kindle instead and she is more than happy with it. She is able to play games and so much more! She put on a Kik app so she can even text with it.

    A kindle is not an ipad and therefore is no where near as good. So if you have used an ipad before and were hoping for similar functionality you may be disappointed. Otherwise it's pretty decent for the price.
