This is one the best CPU's I have ever used. I have been on AMD now for the past 3 years and I have never looked back from moving on from my 10th gen i7. AMD has the best all around cpu work load for gaming and editing and all other tasks. I would highly recommend getting into a 64GB 6000MHz ram kit set up with these CPUs as this is the sweet spot to maximize the performance of this cpu and your build. Of course, us enthusiasts should know this already. We aren't here taking a Ferrari engine and throwing it into a Pinto are we?

Very powerful central processing unit. Productivity and gaming needs completely met. Do not get weak ram with this CPU. If you want to unlock it's potential get cl32 6600mhz or better

Should’ve swtiched from intel to AMD faster. The better power efficiency, the much faster gaming performance, and slightly better productivity capabilities make the 9950x3d undoubtedly the king of all consumer CPUs this year. The only downside i could think of is in terms of mobo support. There are just too few options of good AM5 in matx and itx configurations.

Great CPU. Coming from a 7950X3D I was really excited about this CPU due to the 3D cache placement and its effect on cooling along with a higher TDP. This CPU is an absolute beast and Intel has nothing that can keep up. I have been a fan of AMD for a very long time and hopefully this CPU will last a while.

I needed a work/game station and while the 9800x3d is enough for the gaming side, I needed the additional cores for my work, able to keep it cool with air cooling is a bonus.

Delivered quick, it works perfectly fine with my build and increased its performance extremely. Always good to buy from Best Buy.

The processor itself is fantastic and earns this 5* review. Best Buy decided to drive it across the country in a paper envelope with zero padding, so I'm a little surprised it made it in one piece. Yes, I could have paid for a higher tier of shipping, but I didn't need it right away and figured they'd take care of things properly regardless.

I bought this on a recommendation for world of warcraft. The 3d cashe really does inprove performance on wow im sofar really happy with it.

Outstanding new processor. I switched from Intel to AMD inside my new PC build and couldn't be happier! Intel is simply not what it used to be. I highly recommend this AMD processor if you can afford it.
