This is a great series. Clever writing, great acting, top notch directing and production. I also like the recurring cast idea - that was a stroke of genius. I own all seasons and really like in total and think it is a must have for the video library!

Season One of American Horror Story is my favorite. Dylan McD is really good in this. Can't beat the sale price either. Keep it up Best Buy. "I'll be back".

So, I'd always had interest in seeing this series years ago when it premiered, but figured since it was on TV, it'd probably be wack and watered down. Plus the commercials, so, I didn't watch it. Then, it came available on Netflix DVD, I ordered them and was immediately hooked! Some of the weirdest twists and storylines. It's a must watch. The follow up seasons have also been really good, although, my least favorite was Freak Show, it was still worth seeing. Haven't seen the most recent one, waiting for DVD so I don't have to watch commercials. The Blu-Ray quality is great, too, colors are rich (lots of blood!). Get it! It's like a 12-hr long awesome horror movie.

If you haven't been watching this series, You need to start. Absolutely addicting. I've already bought and watched the first 3 seasons. The 4 th one is airing now, I'm watching it weekly, but will also buy it when it comes to DVD. This 1st season centers around the murder house. Where those who die on the properties souls are trapped for all eternity. Those that are alive cannot tell that the others are dead. which leads to many a conversations, and even love interest between the dead and the living. This show will keep you being for more, on the edge of your seat, binge watching to see what happens next. There's a reason the show is now in its 4th season folks! And we can only hope for MANY MANY more.

It took me a long time to buy this because it was kind of pricey. I finally bought it on sale and I'm glad that I did. It would've been worth full price. I enjoy horror movies, well done or B-rated. This show was very well done and I look forward to watching future seasons. I also enjoyed that the episodes are a bit longer than most shows on FX. I know most of the other shows are comedies and don't need as long to build but I'm glad they didn't clip this one short in order to fit in a 30 minute block.

I LOVE the first season of American Horror Story. The story is great, all the stories make sense separate and together, the actors play the characters very well, and it feels like the characters can relate to people today. It is scary enough to stay exciting, but not overplayed with a ton of fake blood like other cheesy horror shows/films. It is a sexy series, it really gets in your head, and it is inspiring. I can't wait to start American Horror Story: Asylum!!!! :D

Hadn't seen this show on TV so I took a gamble based on a friends recommendation and bought the first season of AHS. Watched the entire season one over the Halloween weekend - perfect timing! My husband and I are hooked. Already bought season two and will be watching it soon. Really frightening characters. Not for the squeamish or faint of heart. Scarriest clown I have ever seen. Don't miss it!

I really enjoyed the first season of AHS (even tough there was quite a bit of naughty scenes) because of the newness of the type of show it was. It was very entertaining and I always looked forward to the next episode to see what plot twist they will throw in. If you have not seen this series, I would definitely recommend you give it a look.

This show has an outstanding cast. The story is full of suspense, mystery and yes, sometimes, even some horror, and the plot has many surprising twists and turns each episode that keep you glued to the screen. I am amazed at the diversity of people that watch this show. Each season is new and different. Always new and fresh. Certainly keeps your attention!

But apart from the relationship between those two if you're a big fan of horror in general, you know the whole haunted house, death, blood, love, lust, romance, and the occasional ghost every now and then with some references to famous or should I say infamous murders and serial killers... yeah, this show is for you.

I had all 7 seasons of AHS on DVD but finally took the plunge into getting them on BluRay as they have more special features and the picture quality is AMAZING. I have a 50 inch 4K HD TV and this product looks flawless!

I've always heard that this series is really good and that you do not have to start from the beginning. I decided to start with season 1 and I am glad that I did because it was really good! If you like the dark and sadistic route of the creators of Nip/Tuck then you will love this new series of theirs!

We love honor movies but was not sure a TV series would provide thrills each episode. boy were we wrong! Plot is constantly throwing something new at you and you will get hooked the series very quickly! We ended up watching the last several episodes all in one night! Just picked up season 2 and can't wait to get started!

This show has many thrills and chills. What makes this installment good is Taissa Farmiga, who brings good looks and great acting to the show. Never is there a dull moment and you do not know what is going to happen next. Good wholesome show for people who like this type of thing.

My second favorite season in my favorite show ever. This is an instant classic, and a hit for any gothic horror fans. Better than any horror movie I’ve seen in a long time!

American Horror Story is a series that has to be viewed, show follows a family with plenty of personal issues and a special daughter who can see things others can't. It's creepy and you'll not wanna stop watching this series. Bluray quality is very good.
