I love Animal Crossing! I thought at first I wasn't going to like this game because it's different from New Leaf, but I've fallen in love with the design and charm. I highly recommend this game!

I did not pick up this game expecting a full Animal Crossing game, nor should you. This title focuses on the interior (and exterior) design aspect from the main Animal Crossing series. However, it expands the normal push/pull furniture and fully incorporates the touchscreen to rearrange furniture, shrubbery, carpet, etc. It also does a wonderful job of cataloging all the items available to you as a designer and organizes them with a handy set of tabs so you will not spend all day swiping through every object available. You progression through this game is done one design at a time. Over the course of the game, you will have the option to design not only homes but a hospital, school, and local shop. Your catalog of items to work with will also expand, encouraging you to revisit past projects and try something new. It is also worth noting that this version comes bundled with the Nintendo 3DS NFC Base. This adds a bit of extra compatibility to a non-new Nintendo 3DS by allowing you to scan Animal Crossing Amiibo cards. The cards may be used to invite the villager on the card over to see a home you designed or even design a house for them. I would not state the Amiibo feature as essential, but it a nice bonus. In summary, it was advertised as a decorating game within the Animal Crossing world, and on that it delivers!

I'm a huge fan of Animal crossing. You get to design the animals' house the way you want. It's fun but it gets repetitive. If you love animal crossing, you should get it.

My kid is a big fan of Animal Crossing games and this one is fun for him. Huge selling point was the NFC reader since he doesnt have the newest 3DS.

She likes all the animal crossing games and this is no exception. The NFC reader is needed for older 3ds games to take advantage of some features.

Definitely a step up from the other Animal Crossing, love that the main focus is design.

Good game to play builds are previous games, you really have to be into these games to enjoy but new people should try it, it is addicting.

The bundle saves you money, and is the best of both worlds for non new 3DS owners. The game is fun, and the accessory works well.

Bought for a friend's birthday, she loves it. She likes that she can get different cards and use the nfc for different amibos.

This game is really fun. I love how you have designs requested but are also able to design the homes however you wish.

My wife really loves playing this game, and getting the NFC Reader for only $10 with it is a pretty good deal.

I bought this for my daughter as she has been asking for this since she got her first animal crossing card. The game looks fun and this bundle comes with the reader for the cards you can buy to add characters to game. Would and do recommend to others.

My eight year old niece loves being able to design on this game. Easy enough for her to understand and play on her own. Got the combo pack that includes the card reader and game, which was a good buy. The only downside was trying to buy the character card pack. Stores did not have enough stock available to purchase and never knew when stock would be coming in.
