Customers frequently mention the game itself as enjoyable and relaxing, with many citing its appeal to children and adults alike. The included NFC reader is also a popular feature, praised for its ease of use and value, especially for owners of older 3DS systems. The design aspects of the game receive significant praise for their intuitiveness and charm, allowing players to create and customize homes and gardens. Finally, the Amiibo card functionality adds another layer of customization and fun to the gameplay experience.

If you've owned or played Animal Crossing for 3DS, you know that a big component of the game is to buy a house from Tom Nook and decorate and improve the heck out of it to showcase to the world (as long as you're connected to Nintendo's servers). This game is an extension of the home building game with many more options and specificity, such as building homes for particular characters in the game. The game gets old rather quickly and is not as fun as other animal crossing games. Unless you're a real animal crossing fanatic, I would not recommend this game.

I was disappointed by this game. I have played all the other AC games and loved them but this one was a disappointment. I knew before hand it was going to be different but wasn't expecting it to be like this. All you do is decorate houses. That's fine but it gets repetitive very quick. Some people may like that type of game but that is not my style.

This game is very boring after an hour or two in. Designing houses over and over again can be entertaining for only so long.

My girls like the game. Don't like that the cards are sold as blind packs as i have gotten several duplicates already.

This game is nothing like Animal crossings except for the characters. It is a very repetitive game with no real goals. For the younger ones, it is a great introduction to Animal Crossings and they do not have to worry about earning bells to decorate.

The best value if you don't have a New 3DS XL or regular and want to use amiibo figures and cards.

Nintendo has a wonderful game lineup in the Animal crossing games. This one is very amusing and engaging.
