Good movie not as great as "The Conjuring" though.

I liked this 1st flick in the franchise, creepy, weird and to my younger son scary!! Just a great story.

this movie is more suspense than horror. its the foundation for the Conjuring and the Conjuring 2. it would be a very bad situation to be in in real life. if you like to be held captive in your seats with fear this is a good one to watch.

I saw this movie in the theater and it was so good that I wanted to own it. If you're into horror movies, this is one you will like.

It is an alright horror film. It isn't anything that should win any awards but does give you a creepy vibe. The dead eyes is a killer if you are easily scared. Far from a classic, but if you want a quick horror fix then this would easily be a pick for you.

If you like horror movies, this one is fairly scary, keeping you awake until the very end... Got it as a Black Friday special.

This movie is a scary movie to watch if you have no others to watch, or if it's on Netflix. I bought this on sale so I'm not to displeased. I'm hoping the second one will be better. I love the idea and that it's based off a "true story".

I do not like watching scary movies at all but this one keeps you hooked while watching. Definitely makes you jump a couple times!

Was expecting an atmospheric horror film that relied on creeping me out, was disappointed. More of an in your face horror movie than a something is hiding under the bed horror. More shock than scare. Forget the Conjuring and you might like this

Nothing scares me but I love horror movies and this is a great one! Nice addition to the collection!
