Putting it together was some fun almost like an old-fashioned rictset. Once put together it picked up everything possible but just like the sales guy told me it's about geological location and I was on the wrong one.

I got 15 channels with this antenna mounted in my attic. With a smaller omnidirectional antenna that costs $10, I got 38 channels. Very Disappointing.

The Clearstream 4-V is a 70+ mile extreme range antenna with a multi-directional directional pick up path of roughly 43 degrees both front and back. If you are surrounded by towers and they are close, the smaller weaker omni-directional antenna with a 360 degree pick up path would perform better. Our tech support line is open 9am-9pm Monday - Friday and 10am-6pm on Weekends. Using your address we can pinpoint the tower locations, determine their frequencies, and help choose the right antenna for your specific needs. Thanks! Antennasdirect

At 140.00 dollars I expected much more. It was rated for longer distance stations but my 30.00 dollar RCA pulls in more channels with a 10 point gain in signal strength without any other changes.

I bought this to get TV from stations that are about 50 miles away and it was only able to receive about 3 stations out of the 30+ that I got from a $15 antenna.

The Clearstream 4-V is a directional outdoor antenna. While it can be used indoors, it has roughly a 43 degree pick up path and would need to be directed at the broadcast towers. It is a very powerful 65+ mile antenna. Thanks! Antennasdirect

Only pulled in 3 channels, being less than 50 miles from Albany towers, I was expecting more.Maybe my location is poor. Might work better in higher elevation

It was easy to put together. But can only get 1 local channel. Does not reach as far as it says. Would have to buy a booster for this TV antenna.

The picture came in great however we were unable to get local stations in. We spent 30.00 on another antenna and got our local stations.

For having purchased the "best" antenna available, the results are mediocre at best. Too many stations come in periodic on too many occasions.

TV towers were 30 miles away, this didn't work

We live about 30 miles from four major TV network towers (FOX, NBC, ABC, and CBS) and this antenna did not pick up any of those signals from the attic nor the garage. When we placed the antenna in the master bedroom (first floor), it picked up only CBS and PBS (6 miles away). As this product claims a "70 mile" range, our actual results were very disappointing. This antenna was returned a few days after purchase.

this was hung on the same pole and placement as my former clearstream...even after the original one broke in half...it was able to get a better reception. I am very disappointed

The Clearstream 4-V is stronger but has a narrower pick up path. If your towers are more than 43 degrees apart the Clearstream 2-V would be the better choice. Thanks for trying the 4-V! Antennasdirect

I have the single Clearstream antenna that works a lot better and gets more channels than this double figure 8 antenna from clearstream Thinking that this double figure 8 and would work better . Well that was not the case. Get more channels with my single figure 8 Clearstream antenna then I did with this double figure 8 antenna

Put in attic to cut cable. Need range south and west. Offered as omnidirectional, but not so. Nearby channels on UHF drop but towers within 20 miles. To much hassle to repackage and return. I would not buy again.

Keep in mind that stucco, tile, or steel roof material will not allow radio waves to make it to the antenna in the attic. In these cases an outdoor installation would be needed.

So sorry, for the confusion about the Clearstream 4-V's pick up characteristics, it is marketed as a multi-directional antenna not omni-directional. Don't give up! We help hundreds of customers everyday with installation and orientation to get the most channels in your area. Please call our tech support line @ 877-825-5572. Antennasdirect

Try to give the antenna the clearest view to the towers as possible. Obstructions such as trees, buildings, and terrain can affect performance. Thanks! Antennasdirect
