Anthem has great movement combat customization and is a blast with friends. While it's not perfect and can be a bit repetitive it's still only in it's infancy and will definitely get better over time.

Don’t get too caught up with the critics. Every time you launch into the open world it’s unlike anything you’ve played before. It’ll only get better with time once more content is available

The game play has a great foundation, but is a bit repetitive. It makes you long for a iron man game to be made now that they've shown that you can fly and fight seamlessly.

I know a lot of people seem to be down in this game and some reasons can be justified but I’m having a blast playing this game. If you’ve played games like destiny then you know what to expect. I think the combat is solid and flying around in the javelin suit is fun and feels good. I haven’t had any major bugs like some people may have experienced so I can’t really speak to that but overall I’m having a blast .

Game is very broken but very fun. Crashes a lot. EA/Bioware can not seem to nail down the servers around launch. That being said, flying around feels awesome and the game is great with friends. Would avoid if playing solo but if you have a crew this is a fun game to play.

Don't Judge A Game By Its Cover

Anthem is a game that is very visually appealing. It is also entertaining having the ability to fly and fight like iron man... to a point. I looked forward to this game, however in my honest opinion it fell quite a bit short. More content is promised in the future, however the current content available is lacking. Anthem provides a short campaign with very little character development. The weapon progression is lackluster and the customizable gear is no where near that of other online games of its sort. Servers drop frequently even with the updates, the sound cuts out at times, and the game simply does not meet expectations. It is painful to express that Anthem is a 6.5/10 at best. It has its moments and will hopefully improve in the near future. I currently cannot recommend the game to a friend, however in the near future hopefully it can improve with updates.

Played the beta and had a ton of fun. So far have only had 1 minor glitch during game play and loading really hasn't been an issue, longest load ive had is about a minute and a half on my xbox one x but the game is really fun especially with friends. It really gives of a destiny vibe and hopefully with the free content updates they've announced this game will continue to be improved

This game didn't hold me down as long as I would have liked but I still had good times with friends while I was on it (I think that is really what makes a game, which of your friends get the game as well, lol). Now digital wise, BB messed me up at first. I didn't receive my code at launch which sucked. And then the first code didn't include the bonus items for preordering so I go another code. Eventually everything got fixed but grrr, as a gamer, you all know the importance of getting on game day one to play with your friends, so eh.

Game is fun other that the rinse and repeat aspect of the game. The best mechanic of the game is the flying, they definitely needed to tweak some things before it was released. Electronic arts has a tendency to release or want games released before they are finished. I would rather wait a little bit longer for a game than have an unfinished game.

Well to start off, the game released on February 22nd, 2019, and I didnt receive my digital code that day. I proceeded to go into the store that I purchased it and was told a third party handles digital pre orders. At this point I had to go out of town for work, so I decided to wait to address it until I got home. Well it popped up 3 days later in my email. My intention was to install and play a few hrs before I had to go on my trip, but noooo.... no code. In my opinion, if you preorder a AAA game, you should get the game at launch. But besides that, the game is actually really beautiful visually. The only problem I have with it is I feel like there's not a lot to do outside shooting NPCs. Good game, needs more content. Has potential.

The game play is easy to get into, and the story for the campaign is pretty cool. However, the in game store sucks, and armor sets are cosmetic only. I do like that you can play through the game solo by setting your missions to private. There are only a handful of instances where you need to be in freeplay multiplayer.

Personally, I am a big fan of Bioware. This game met my expectations as far as game play. One downside is the constant load screens when moving to different areas. I won't necessarily advocate for purchasing this game for $60 because I think it still is a work in progress. However, overall it is a decent game.

Actually playing the game, flying around, fighting aliens, is fun. But there's not a lot else to do in the game besides that, and the story is probably better than something like Destiny but still doesn't really hold together that well. Best if you like co-op

There's no denying the cons people are putting in reviews, but honestly I think people are just looking for reasons to be upset. The load times are longer than I'd like, but better than others (like Destiny or Fallout 4) and overall the game is a lot of fun. I expect it changes over time, but if you look at the cost per hour it's easily worth your money.

I have to say I've enjoyed my 60 hours with Anthem. I mean, aside from the sound bugs, the crashes, the lack of loot, the buggy quests...aside from all that it's actually, honestly been a lot of fun. This game is like no other game I've played in it's aspirations, but it could have used a little more time in the oven to bake. I got my money's worth, but others wanted more and are very disappointed that the end game is just not there. Pick this game up on sale and enjoy playing out the story, but don't expect a whole lot more after your'e done with the story as you're going to be setting yourself up for disappointment.
