i purchased my 1st 27" AOC in 2014 and decided to get another in 2015! Love my dual setup! AOC def the best bang for your buck! Great quality!

I've purchased 3 of these monitors in the past 9 months. One for my business, one for wife (personal use) and one for a client. This monitor includes speakers and has HDMI, DVI and VGA inputs. A excellent monitor for the price and an unbelievable value when on sale.

I wanted to install dual monitors with my home desktop PC. In order to purchase another monitor to match my existing one, I would have had to pay almost double what I paid for the two AOC monitors. The resolution and speed are perfect for my needs (graphic arts, photo editing, etc.)

What I really like about this computer is that the colors just pop and its so clear, I do graphics and they look so clean looking in this monitor. AOC is great product.

Based on the price of this monitor, I was skeptical on the quality. The 20,000,000:1 contrast ratio was good, but I had seen better on cheaper monitors. However, as soon as I set this thing up, I was blown away. The 27 inches turned out to be far bigger than imagined, the contrast ratio was more than I would ever need, the thing was extremely fast (It has a 2ms response time!) the screen was super thin, and the design was stunning. Additionally, it came with built in speakers! In other reviews, people said the speakers were not very high quality, however I beg to differ! The sound is very crisp and clear, not to mention the fact that it has good volume to it, and can be turned up fairly loud. Additionally, here are some set up tips. When the box is first received, it says that it is "Windows 7 compatible", but don't worry, it works completely fine with windows 8 and 8.1 as well. Make sure to keep the box close when setting up the monitor, as the instructions are printed on the outside of the box. (I found that a little odd, but it wasn't really an inconvenience) Next, the monitor comes with an audio cable and a VGA cable. I DO NOT recommend using those cables, as VGA isn't very fast, and the audio cable has to be plugged into the headphone jack since VGA doesn't have in-line audio, hence making it extremely difficult to switch between speakers and headphones. I would definitely recommend using an HDMI cable, as it has better picture quality than VGA AND has sound in-line as well. I got an HDMI cable from this very website (bestbuy.com if that was hard to figure out :P) for only $5. Last but not least, the monitor comes with a disc too. On the instructions, it makes it look like the computer needs the disk software in order to run, but don't worry, as that isn't the case. All the disk comes with is a PDF of the users manual, an some optional drivers. (For some reason I wasn't able to install the drivers, so it's a good thing the monitor works fine without them.) Overall, terrific monitor! Don't hesitate to buy it!

I was skeptical about this monitor as I was not familiar with the brand AOC but after reading reviews I was glad I purchased it. It works perfectly with my Mac with not much setup needed. Could use some speakers and the buttons on the machine are not that great, but can't really complain for the price!

I was skeptical about the brand and monitor for about a year. When it dropped down to $150 during President's Day weekend, I had to jump on it. (For reference, my previous monitor was a 2008-2009 Samsung 24" 1080p LCD Syncmaster which still looks better than most monitors today.) I've only had this monitor for a day. Out of the box, the picture settings were horrendous. Washed out colors and virtually no black levels. After a few tweaks within the monitor's OSD settings, the colors were still not to my liking. Then I discovered my graphics card has a setting called "Nvidia Vibrance" which enhances color and darkens blacks. After a few tweaks, this monitor stood out! Blacks are deep and colors are vibrant. Out of the box, my set has no dead pixels but horrible flashlighting (backlight is visible on the edges of screen where bezel is on too tight). 1080p content on this monitor looks great, anything lower than that (1080i/720p) looks awful. Text is nice and sharp. Overall, this is a great monitor for doing papers and playing games in 1080p. Just please have the patience to tweak the settings before writing it off like I almost did.

For the price this is a good monitor. Here are some things I learned from set up. The Imenu software works. Even though you pick English for install it will come up in Chinese or something. Click one time then one more time on the globe/gear tab in the imenu software. Then you can set English language from the pull down menu -program language. Another tip using the Imenu software. Click on bright frame tab ( box with a smaller box in the corner ) and use these settings brightness 24 contrast 36 frame size 100 and you'll have a vibrant picture. What worked the best for me was using NVidia control panel settings as the set up I was able to get a really nice picture better than using Imenu or the set up buttons on the monitor. Happy with my purchase.

After many reviews from Best Buy and Amazon, I decided to go with this monitor because of the 27 inch screen size, which from what I have read is the lowest size for a solid gaming monitor; the low ms rate, which is essential; and just from the reviews themselves, and this monitor has not let me down in the slightest. I use this mainly for League of Legends, and I can already see a big difference in gameplay. The larger screensize, combined with its low ms rate and its excellent resolution, has been a huge help. I also use it occasionally for X-Box One and all the games look wonderful on it. There are speakers on the monitor, so that's a plus, and they work great. Absolutely no complaints there. It's just a solid gaming monitor and I love it.

I've had the monitor about a week now, so far I love it. I only use it on my gaming rig. OTB it will take some time to dial in the settings, which I'm still working on. Colors are are crisp and accurate to specs however, could be a little brighter. Again I use this only for gaming mainly 3rd person and FPS, no blur or streaking. For example, I play warframe on the highest settings and COD on medium-high. Pros: Contrast ration fast response time- no blur 2ms great price- on sale for $169 size-no need for dual monitors Cons: settings software (cd) not helpful better to adjust yourself base- kind of the standard plastic base you see on most Samsung it doesn't wobble but it doesn't feel very sturdy on my desk for example, I'f my desk were bumped into with a medium amount of force I'd be nervous as it seems a bit top heavy. buttons- located on the bottom of the bezel which made it difficult to adjust and pretty stiff.

THE RESOLUTION IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME, USING THIS DISPLAY WITH AUTOCAD IS NOT VERY TIREING FOR MY EYES. I USE IT FOR MORE THAN 12 HOURS SOMETIMES. FOR THE PRICE IT WAS EXCELLENT PURCHASE. I RECOMEND THE SIZE TO AUTOCAD USERS THAT SPEND TO MUCH TIME ON THE COMPUTER.

-It was cheaper here than on newegg -nice price for a 27 inch 1080p monitor -built in speakers, can't really enjoy dub step with them you know, but its nice in case you don't want to put your head set on while watching a video.

Purchased this monitor because I work from home and as I'm getting older it's getting harder to see. Love the screen size, resolution options and ease of set up.

Excellent product...clear picture, sound is not great (may want to invest in speakers). The price was more than fair.

Bought this online when my 27" Samsung went out. I paid over double for the Samsung and this one is the same quality!!! I recommend it to everyone looking for a large screen at a great price!! Forget the bigger brand names!! I read some of the other reviews about the sound/volume before i bought it, but with my own speakers the sound is excellent!! Don't use the built in speakers! Great picture, great everything!! No excuses on this purchase!!

My 2005 Dell XPS 600 held its own with main stream PCs sold until this year. The new AOC 27" PC monitor is the absolute best bargin on price I've seen. The quality of image clarity is brilliant. The only down side is my old PC doesn't have the drivers to support the higher resolution this monitor packs. It took some work to get the instructions and play with the resolution that was best supported by my old PC, but WOW! What an incredible upgrade from the old 21" I was using. The biggest improvements? 1) e-mail and web searching - no need for glasses to see the fine print and 2) Watching High Def movies is a joy. No comment here about monitor sound because I use a separate Bose sound system. I haven't done any gaming for years. If someone does, I recommend taking the extra effort to install the drivers to tap into all the resolution this monitor packs. Price? Best Buy deal of the day $200 Jan 2013 (brand new - not a refurbish either). The best price I saw on anything close to this was $250-$350. I highly recommend this monitor brand, AOC, for a best value monitor size upgrade. I have no regrets or problems with it.

Never heard of AOC? Me neither. I was looking for an upgrade monitor for my son. He had a 19" and we were thinking 22". When we saw the quality of the AOC and the price of the 27" was comparable to a name brand 22" or 24", we decided to give it a try. It was well worth it. He uses it for homework, gaming and watching videos. Speakers are weak but he has external. I went back to get one as a secondary to the 27" I have but they were sold out.

Purchased this to go with a new Windows 10 system for my wife. Resolution is good (HD, 1920x1080), color is good. Side by side with my 7-year-old Dell 1920x1200 monitor, it was not as bright, until I discovered "Picture Boost" in the control menus. This feature is not well explained, but seems to allow a rectangular portion of the screen to be boosted to be brighter or higher in contrast, and the rectangle can be expanded to the entire screen. Perhaps meant for PIP? Also, when completely "black", it isn't -- more like a charcoal grey. The control buttons are on the bottom edge of the screen, and it is impossible to see an labels. I ended up making up a label strip and taping it to the bottom border just above the control buttons. These are fairly minor complaints. After about a month of use, the monitor has served well. I appreciate the built-in speakers which, though hardly high fidelity, avoids the expense and clutter of external speakers. And the sound is much better than that on a tablet and small laptop that I also own.

This monitor is simply amazing. I bought this specifically for Battlefield 3 and 4 that's coming out. The 2ms response time literally prevents image blur on fast paced games. For $199 bucks you cant go wrong for the price. I honestly don't know why its so cheap picture quality is better then some LED IPS monitors I have seen. The only thing I do not like is the insanely difficult menu option buttons for the monitor....I got used to them after 10-15 minutes but for a noobie it WILL be confusing.
