This is the perfect battery backup for my Lan equipment. 1 Cable Modem, 1 Wireless Router, 1 Switch. Has a very small footprint, and does the job it needs to do. I like the spacing between the sockets as cable modems and routers often have bulky power supplies. No issues there with this.

Great back up for the home office. Not too heavy, but still mighty!

This is my fourth purchase on this model back-UPS. I have one connected to almost all my media and network devices. It's more practical alternative to devices or equipment that don't require a 3-prong electrical plug

This unit has been through several thunderstorms, brown outs and power losses in the last few months and no problems so far. It would have been nice for it to accept a three prong plug but most modems, routers, switches etc only use a two prong so I guess that was their logic.

Forgot to notice this thing does not have grounded outlets. What electronics now-a-days don't have grounded plugs?!?! Had to return it for a real backup supply.

I bought this UPS specifically for providing battery backup for my cordless phones base unit. Seems to work fine and the physical size is perfect for the space available.

I was having problems with power surges and a Best Buy salesman recommended this item. So far it is working, I think!

Wanted something that would help when we had power blinks. Works so far.

It's small but effective. I haven't had a power failure since purchasing. but, I trust APC. It looks cool.

No trouble hooking it up and it works properly. Only time will tell.

I cannot use this battery backup with my Vonage phone adaptor. When I purchased this unit, I did not notice that my Vonage VOIP phone adaptor uses a 3 prong grounded power plug. Look carefully in the picture of this unit at the sockets on top and you will see that there is no socket for a grounded plug. I will use the unit to back up my portable phone base located in another room, so 2 of the 3 provided sockets will not be needed at this time.

Works great for network equipment (i.e. Modems, routers, Switches, etc). Is small and light-weight compared to other UPS models. The one downside that I see so far is the power outage alarm. As if we didn't know the power was out already, the unit has a rather loud constant beep, and there's no readily apparent way to disable it. All and all, it does what you need it to do, just find a quiet out of the way place to setup your network.

Our power went out today for over 3 hours due to a typical FPL SNAFU. This little thing kept our cable modem and 2 other routers running for almost 3 hours. I'd have to say it performs as advertised. If it had just lasted another 20 minutes I would give it 6 stars.
