I just purchased an expensive musical instrument. I was looking for a unit to keep it safe in the event of bad storms and power outages and surges. I came upon this item and it was what I was looking for. Took it home and plugged my instrument in. So far, it has worked perfectly. Michelle

I have used APC products since I bought my first PC. Easy to hook-up and install and they have never failed me. The battery life is more than what is labeled. Had my last one for 5 years. Bought a new one since the price of a new battery and a new unit was not that much different. Great product, never failed me.

I bought this for my home media server that has a printer, monitor and a gaming computer hooked up. The battery life is great, and the software was easy to install, it gives a decent amount of information on how much battery life you have with the connected equipment so your actual battery life may vary from whats on the box. I haven't had any issues with it and I'd definitely recommend it for this kind of a home setup for those who are either concerned about random power outages or power fluctuations.

My review is based more on past experience with APC products, than the actual performance of this particular item. It's hard to provide a really comprehensive review on an item designed for many years' use, after only a month or so. BUT.... This UPS has performed well, so far. My experience with other UPC products extends back 20-ish years. In that time, I've never had a less-than-positive experience with a wide array of APC products, used with everything from laptop computers to servers, to communications equipment. Just as with any product of this type, I've had to replace batteries--again, after years of use--but that's just a standard occurrence. I've never had an APC unit fail, and I've never suffered loss of equipment or data because of an issue with any of these products. I've bought a lot of 'em in the past, and I'll probably look to APC products in the future.

You really need to protect your electronics with an UPS and I've been very satisfied with this brand before, but my old one didn't cover my needs anymore. I liked the in store display that helped me figure out what I needed and the price was good. In addition, the manufacturer offers a trade in program for old batteries which cuts down on replacement costs and e-waste.

They have protected my gear wonderfully for years. Especially in my previous house which was older and not all the electric was updated. Saw a great price and grabbed one for my Bluray and receiver in our great room. If your power goes out during an update you may brick your system. I have my internet and anything requiring an update on backups.

I was djing a wedding and some happened with the power , and fried my external hd with 3 gigs of music on it . that's why I did looked into a battery back up and this 1 had the best revieuws I love it , its heavy but no fried external hd and losing music anymore .worth the money,

I got this at a great price on sale and it save my but within the first week. was working on the computer and the power went out without warning. Without any hiccup the battery was running and all my work was safe. didnt test how long it would run on the battery but was definitely more then enough to save what i was doing and shut down

I've used small APC UPS units for years. The battery typically lasts 5 years. This UPS provides power to a PC that is used as a NAS. It keeps the NAS alive during brief power outages which is exactly what I need it to do. Very reliable UPS.

I had this product for about 10 years before it gave out and went out and got another one without hesitation. I am very pleased with its performance. There are enough plugs for what you typically need. It kept things going when the power went out which, where I live, can go out a few times a year.

This was purchased to protect a computer and so far so good. It is best if recharged before its initial use, which I did. I am satisfied with its performance and ease of use. The only complaint I have it the bulk, but that is a minor inconvenience when considering what it protects.

Easy set up and great software download. Living in FL we tend to have our electric go out and many surges and/or glitches. This gives me time to finish what I am doing and save and shut down if needed.

My purchase of an APC - Back-UPS 700VA UPS - Black was to replace a four year old APC. I have found their products to be reliable and easy to use. I was very satisfied with the online purchase and store pick up for this product.

I purchased my UPS unit primarily for my work from home job. I figured if there is a really bad storm to come then what's the harm in being protected for your electronics. Not once had a powerful storm in my neck of the woods. But did have a faulty electrical box go out in the middle of the day out of the blue. Half the house was up and running and the other half was a dead horse. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. As soon as the power went out I heard the beeping alert from the unit go off and it provided me enough time (roughly 45 minutes) to safely remove my computer, modem, phones, and speakers to a working outlet. Needless to say this baby works. I will be purchasing more units with better battery life for our new house come next month!

Got this for $55 on sale, very easy to install and setup, PC software is easy to use. Appears to seemlessly function during black/brownouts.

This APC 700 va UPS Is an excellent battery back-up for my desktop PC. It seems to have plenty of power to keep the PC going for a sufficient time to finish a task in the event of a power outage. I keep only the PC itself and my wireless router plugged in to the UPS to maximize the back-up time. If I were actually using the PC at the time of an outage, I would re-plug the monitor into the UPS so I could see to finish things up and then shut down. The unit is sturdily made and has more power than the average home UPS for a reasonable price.

I use nothing but APC backups. The unit is easy to set up and requires no maintenance during the life of the battery. I got this unit at an excellent price as it was on sale for 25% off.

Of course, you want to protect your computers. These are what you want. However, after switching to Comcast's XPlatform, I find it a pain when the lights flicker the modem goes out and has to reboot, sometimes more than once. I purchased one for each of our boxes not only to keep the cable on, but to provide a steadier flow of electricity to our newer more expensive TV's. They are long lasting. I just replaced the batteries in 2 I've had for years. They are still on guard for our computers. Lots of peace of mind.

Easy to set up although it's pretty heavy to place on the top of a computer desk shelf. There are eight surge protected outlets and four of those have battery backup.

I have this battery back up powering my stereo receiver for home audio, my security camera DVR box, my Motorola cable modem and my airport extreme wifi router. I had a power outage the other day for about 20 minutes or so and the battery back up worked perfectly I did not have the stereo receiver going but it kept the security camera dvr going as well as the cable modem and the wifi router. Its an excellent product and would recommend to all my friends.
