    If you own an iPhone 8 or later, this cable is a necessity to unlock Fast Charging (reaching 50% battery in about 30 minutes when paired with a 20W+ power adapter). While it is more expensive than generic cables, its perfect compatibility with the iOS ecosystem makes it a "buy once, cry once" essential.

    It works. I bought cheap gas station non apple items. They don’t hold up as well. It’s worth the couple extra bucks. You can buy with confidence.

    I purchased 3 cables for my family. I use Android but they all use Apple. My family says that the Apple cables work best for their phones and are durable. But, there are some of us that always misplace charging cables. I rarely have durability issues with c-type cables and they are cheaper and easier to replace. Best Buy had Apple cables on sale, so I stocked up for stocking stuffers.
